I am bored cause there's nobody on the msgboard.

And eat coockies and icecream and chips all togheter kind off and now i'm feeling sick. I have to stop eating like a pig. But i went to rollercoasters todya wich was cool.

But NOW I AM FUCKING BORED.

My day's just started. I'm just waiting on my brother, and we're going to drive down and visit my grandfather.

Well i dont gain wheight so quickly but i just dont feel good after all this crap. I like to eat healthy cause it's justr better. But i just cant i like all this stuff to much.

Yeah, after I got back from England I overhauled my eating habits. No more junk food, no more candy, no more starchy foods and cut out most alcohol. It was amazing what I shoved into my piehole every day, and how much I nibbled when I packed my son his lunches, or when someone brought in cookies or cake at work. I've since dropped some weight and I feel really good, like more myself. But now when I do give in to a craving I feel really sick after I eat it, so I pretty much avoid it all together.



My grandfather is doing a little bit better - thanks for asking! Nature don't make people like him anymore, he's a stubborn old Russian Jew who's gets a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. He's still in critical condition and I have no idea when he gets to come home, but the outlook is promising. Bit by bit and one day at a time. He's getting pretty feisty and keeps talking about coming home, which is a good sign.

That's great to hear. Hopefully you can have him with you a bit longer. My grandma was sick for years but was a tough one aswell hehe. Hopefully he can go home soon , nobody likes to be in the hospital !!!

Yeah, the only redeeming thing about being in the hospital is that you can be on all these painkillers and not feel guilty! ;) No, in all seriousness, hospitals freak me out, it's upsetting to see people in such a bad state. I think the only time being in a hospital didn't freak me out was when my son was born, but even then... When 'stash was in the hospital over 10 years ago, our friend came to visit. Her mother worked as a nurse there, so our friend showed me some of the back entrances to the place. Walking around near the morgue was creepy as fuck, it just had such a strange and heavy vibe.

you are right, hospitals are kinda awful. as a groupleader for language students, i sometimes need to go to hospitals with them -and english hospitals are a pain!-.



as well, my cousin works as a doctor at hospital. he once took me there. they were just trying to safe the life of some poor bloke who crashed into a tree with his cabriolet with 80 miles an hour without having his seatbelt on. he died after 10 hours or so



uh... hospitals. bad place to go, doesn't matter the reason why.

Well, I was in a dark, obscure club in Berlin last night and I saw this guy who had a weird belt buckel. It was a blue Neon light saying his name and some other crap. Unbelievable :D Like a big billboard his name and other stuff scrolled by in blue letters. It was so funny, cause the guy looked like a bigshot but really wasn't haha :D

okay then.



it was quite cool - we met matt (BP's drummer) outside the venue in some street caf� and had our tickets signed by him. he was with his girlfriend and as she did not have backstage access he went to the stage through the crowd (passing us again) and off stage as well (passing us another time) without being recognized by anyone.

that may be as kele is such a typical "frontman". he's the one the girls scream for (yes, they did) and he was the one to give out setlists, his towel and whatever. very charismatic.

there were two support bands - richandkool (who make good music but THEIR SINGER SUCKS!!!) and the cribs (who rocked the shit our of the 1st row-girls. they must have been afraid). bloc party finally started by 10.30 pm, playing all there album songs, non-album singles and some bd-sides. there were 3 encores before 20 to 12 the light gone on again. lightshow was fine.



all in all a very good concert but not as amazing as interpol who i've seen the week before.

kele is some good entertainer and very communicative with the crowd. russell (the 2nd guitar player) seems quite shy while matt and gordon (bg) were responsible for some nice action, talk and fun onstage, as well.



go and see em it's worth it!!!

So they played well over an hour including 3 encores??? That's a bit lame. I will see tham at Werchter so no encores there. How long will they play then?

I have to say I really like Kele's voice but after listening to the album again today I have to say Matt is an excellent drummer. I think he is the reason I really like Bloc Party.

Interpol was live better than Bloc Party? Or do you think Interpol also has a better album? I don't really like Antics. It has a couple of good tunes but as a whole I like Silent alarm way better.

the show interpol made was just better IMO. as well, they had a far better light show.

dunno how long bloc party will play at werchter as it is not organized by their tour management, probably 1 hour? in hamburg they performed for about 75 minutes, i think.

matt really is a very good drummer but richandkools drummer was even better, unbelievable!

It's going to be a long week. You know, how the time drags and drags when you've got something you're looking foward to. Only 5 days til the Chems but the time is going to pass like dog years. Come oooooon Saturday!
