Help with power-sliding (aka snaking)
When you begin your powerslide around a turn make sure you turn yourself sharp
enough for the turn FIRST and then begin your left and right tapping.
I find that if you're turning LEFT you should be holding RIGHT while sliding.
So begin your turn by turning sharp enough to the left that if you slide to
the right you won't go off the course at all. (Going of the course will slow
you down so much you'll wish you didnt slide at all in the first place, so
avoid this like the plague.) It's very important that you keep your kart
moving in the same direction as the course when using these boosts, so on
sharper turns, a lil jump right AFTER the boost can help you straighten
yourself out immensely. Also on the sharpest turns make sure you jump a few
times BEFORE you slide to get yourself in sync w/the direction of the course.
(Most people that slide off the course here and there and dont understand why
probably dont do this)
