A little bit of the '90s for ya:
George Costanza: You don't think she'd yada yada sex?
Elaine: [raising hand] I've yada yada'ed sex.
George Costanza: Really?
Elaine: Yeah. I met this lawyer, we went out to dinner, I had the lobster bisque, we went back to my place, yada yada yada, I never heard from him again.
Jerry: But you yada yada'd over the best part.
Elaine: No, I mentioned the bisque.

seriously Ooter, you've got to stop doing that, it's freaking me out: Last night I was hanging out with some of my friends who go to UCSC too and we were all talking about words/sounds people use to bypass important details. And obviously most the conversation was around "yada yada." One of my friends was thinking about writing a dissertation on the subject. Good times..

Hmmm. "yada yada" has it's roots in Britain. At least according to Miriam-Webster.

hehehe, I knew that would be right up your alley. The Datsun 280Z was the shiz when it was in production, and that Black Gold anniversary model was a hit with all those suburbanite men going through mid-life crisis back in the day. Still a pretty sweet car nontheless, and you occasionally see those models on the road but it's not very frequent. As for the anniversary Black Gold edition, it's been years since I've seen one on the road. Cheesy advertisement aside, I think those cars still look cool today.

hey iggy - the Black Gold 280z is a rarity, but the regular Datsun 280z was in mass production over the years and the body shape altered slightly as time went on... and eventually the model was dropped when Datsun became Nissan and the 300z faded the 280z into oblivion.
I'm not sure what the distribution of this car was like in the UK, but since the z was in production for a long time chances are you'd have better luck getting your hands one than, say, a Delorean! ;)
