No... Crystal Method have no idea what they're doing when it comes to production values. They just slap together a bunch of cold synth sounds and the occasional, shitty, apparently 'clever' sample. (Or cheap and unexceptional vocals.) And in terms of creating an album, CM is more than a little confused...

It could be fine (i.e *OK* _music_) for cheeky action sequences or a bad video game, but it's straight-up not good music. I have a feeling Slipvin just likes his beats and can't let go.

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I do know where you are coming from GLAKO, TCM do sell out and make money on hi-coctain action film soundtracks, I do pitty them, and compairing their work to that of a chemical bros B side would be foolish!! However, I do enjoy some of their tracks, my mate loves them, he's a metal fan so it figures really.

My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

Off topic... off topic, but if you guys get the chance, check out Uberzone. Specifically, 4 Bit. Though his entire first album is pretty cool. Kinda Kraftwerk meets TCM trying their damndest to sound the the Chems. But in a good way!

And as for TCM - yeah, they're ok. I have Legion of Boom and Vegas, and I enjoy hearing their songs shuffle in my music library. But they're a bit overrated, overall. Though, Keep Hope Alive rocks and shall always.

If that's your logic of selling out... What about Orbital (Octane), Plaid (Tekkonkinkreet), Mogwai (Zidane), Air (Virgin Suicides) and Underworld (Sunshine) then? Did they all sell out too? The way you think makes no sense.

Indeed a very stupid comment Vman, I think you'd like to take it back. To add another one to the list Slipvin, Johnny Greenwood: Bodysong.

VMan, I'd almost completely forgotten about the Filter'd Trip Like I Do. I really enjoyed that track and it gave an already good song a bit more grime, crunch and punch. Good stuff.

I'm going to have to side with Slipvin on the selling out bit. I'm not sure what you mean either, then again the whole term "sell out" has become somewhat subjective over the years.
