Instead of flooding the "Now Playing" topic, I might aswell create a topic for Mustard Pimp. They're 2, they're French, they're signed on Dim Mak, and they like big devastating synth lines.
Their first album "No Title Or Purpose" will be released soon, and here's the preview minimix

http://soundcloud.com/mustard-pimp/mustard-pimp-album-mini-mix

I think I got myself a good candidate for album of the year.

Wow! I really need to step my game up!
Seriously though, I absolutely love their Subs remix.

They did a music for season 4 of Jersey Shore. Not their best stuff but it goes pretty well with the series

Another top notch remix :

probably my favorite after their The Subs remix

Chappo version is really punchy, and the Deftones one is pretty massive!

ZHM is kind of love/hate for me cause I like when that sample comes in and its all melodic housy, then that screeching noise kicks, and then I just run away! But then I come to listen it again :?:

You should listen to the ZHM remixes, I'm sure you'll like one of them :) The Dada Life and Geht's Noch remixes are my favourites

I actually like the rough ZHM noises. Also, that video is batshit weird -- think about the damage you could do if you integrated that video into the "Birds and Bees" talk for a kid   Potentially scarring stuff.

Anyways, I'm loving all this.

@BenJ: Do you have these remixes as nice quality MP3s? I'd really love a nice zip package filled with all of their remixes and b-sides (I'll get the album myself, as I definitely want to support them).

PS. I liked this remix a fair amount:

The two dudes in Mustard Pimp are really cool guys... and I've loved listening to them for awhile now. The new album has got some amazing sounds in it... though, I swear some of their live stuff from like a year+ ago has now FINALLy appeared on the album?

Some tracks are reworked versions of old tracks, yes. And an album is not made in 10 days :) (except for Daft Punk or Mr Oizo but that's another story), I guess they had tracks that were not finished or tied to be on the album, but they still wanted to try them out in a club.

The Garden instrumental is a reworked version of "Bagarre" that went out on blogs 2 years ago :

Ahh, yeah, that makes sense now... But that's ok. Reworking something only heard by few into something new to be heard by many is always a good tactic. :)

Some tracks of Amon Tobin's album Foley Room (2007) were in a BBC Breezeblock mix in 2005 ! And some other tracks of his early 2006 sets came out 3 years later in the Two Fingers album !

The final version sounds much better. Especially with Puppetmastaz vocals on it (and it's not dubstep -_-)

Yeah, this sounds nothing like Burial

The joke is that Dubstep can describe both Burial and Skrillex, and it is almost silly to use the label in a demeaning way, or to argue that something is not Dubstep or Dubstep-like when the genre is so wideranging
