What did your wife think of the show?

She loved it as much as I did, we stayed up all night, couldn't stopped talking about it.

That's awesome! My husband and I are the same way after a show! It is so great to share things like this with our significant others. At the very least they deserve some type of medal or award for putting up with our off tour season fanatical shenanigans, hehe! ;)

Laura did a very nice job on that poster, especially with the multicolored PTB heads. I've got just one nit pick - it's not too obvious, but you can see where she scribbled out the Chemical Brothers logo on the Further cover. A quick black 'paint bucket' over it should smooth it out.

Haha, yeah she noticed that too once it was up on the website.
She fixed that bit up, and the new poster is at http://seesounds.com...poster-out-now/
Despite that, I'm happy you liked the design!

PS. I hope you don't mind, but I've put your name in the credits of my screening - you've done a lot to help me out and to make the event a success.
So even though you won't be there, I just wanted to show my appreciation. :)

Oh my fuckin god, I am still Reeling, pun fully intended. In 2008 the Brothers took me to a place I had never been before and tonight they took me back there and FURTHER! What a brilliant show, 9000 people in a grass paddock dancing in the rain, everyone having a ball. I have never danced so hard in all my life. Every track was unbelievable but Super Flash live is absolutely brilliant, what a fucking fantastic dance track, and the snow/surface to air blend is just beautiful.

Still too amped to go through my recording and get a set list but pretty sure we got a couple of tracks extra in the encore. From what I could see, I was stuck half way back behind a barrier, it looked like Tom and Ed had an amazing time.

Get some rest Krisp! Looking forward to your awesome tale!

So Ed thinks it's a top 10 huh! That must of been some gig!

Congrats WN on the credit!

What track is playing at the beginning here?

The lights are playing along with it but the Brothers aren't there; sounds like an intro tape (but why would the lights be going then?).

Three more sleeps! I wonder how Future Music went last night, I feel so sorry for all the acts having to catch a flight late last night from Brisbane to Perth. Hope the 2 hours behind makes sometime to catch up on sleep!

I kinda cheated and caught one of the videos from the Brisbane gig now I'm super pumped!!

Future went great, considering it was a big mud pit. They played their main set list minus the encore. Pretty sure there was a new visual. I need to sort out a bunch of files. Hotel lost broadband so I can't put up any video.

aaaaarrrrrrrgggghhhh! As the date gets closer it feels like the build up in The Sunshine Underground or Escape Velocity is playing in your head. I know superflash will be a favourite and the Setting Sun drop in....and everything else. (oh and Don't Think....holy shit cant wait for that one) But I havent seen any of these videos for a good month and a half now. (Detoxing Posted Image for real one)

I'm sure they'll convert a few new young kids when they do Future Music Festival (not sure if I'm going to that one yet) aswell and see how good us veterans on here have had it with them so far. This will probably be the best electronic dance live gig I will experience so far. I remember when Daft Punk did there round of concerts and not touring on the back of a new album and that was when they were made even bigger after that tour to a broader audience, it was crazy.

"I want to go higher...H.I.A!!" (on Wednesday night!) Melbourne: lets try and make the top 5 of there favourite gigs!
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

Not sure if there was a new visual, but I saw something at Future that I didn't remember from the night before, the visual for Leave Home had an island viewed from above through a fish-eye lens. Has that been seen before?

A short but good review http://news.ninemsn....emical-brothers

A small piece of trivia, when you get to my age, 2 chems shows in a row, plus having to walk almost 2 hours to find a taxi = major amounts of pain and suffering. Every muscle in my body aches. It is a good pain though.

Rather disappointed, I bought a camera especially to film some of these shows, took it to the Riverstage show in Brisbane and the camera is shit at filming bright lights, not even worth showing. So I got nothing from that show. Took my still camera to Future and managed to film a bit. Unfortunately it is still pretty crap video, but the audio is pretty good.

The start of their Future set.

and this continues straight on

I love this version of Believe. The visuals are unreal too, it looks like Tom and Ed are flying their rig through the landscape.

Does anyone know where the vocals at the end of Believe come from ? They were also in Paris and Elsch-Sur-Azeette, I've been wondering where they come from for two months...

You mean the "It's the lifestyle we livin" ??

I've been asking this question here like 2 years ago..

They're playing it since 2007 I guess and it's also on the facebook mix right after Vitalic.

You can also hear it very clearly on the Live from Electric Proms 2007 bootleg
