I know I reply to a very old message but hey I was bored @ work so I started reading the old messages.

}:-) (my boss doesn't like me doing this but hey fuck him)

Do the songs really sound like the chemical bros????

Does it have a Acid-riff or a phat beat.

Or is it just a beth orton song that is produced by the chems.

But still sounds like a beth orton song.

I just would like to know.

I'd go with the last bit , c-row. Her songs sound all her own, she's got her own style and I think the Chemicals respect that but for the trained Chemical ear, you can hear the Chemical influence/production going on. A mark of good producing, not overpowering so it sounds like a Chemical remix but keeping it low key - the styles don't collide and work well together.
