72 hours??? Eeeeeek! Already?

Crap, I have so much to do on Friday before the LA show. Gotta do laundry, make sure there's clean towels for the houseguests, clean the bathrooms, vacuum, go visit my crazy ol' Grandpa, get all the little duckies in a row before heading out on Saturday.

Excited!!!

If my husband weren't so heavily medicated, he'd be all jittery!

Rynostar--what's keeping you from coming this time?

Biff/Bosco--Let's meet up at my apartment before the show. I live right next to 9th Ave. and Geary St., and there's actually parking in the area, though it is a bit difficult to find. Carpool to the show.

I'm not really into bringing personal drama on the homefront to the board, but it always seems right before a Chems show, some sort of somthin's somethin' strikes and threatens to take our chance away. First time seeing them, I was coming out of a depression. Second time seeing them, we got seperated from our crew. 3rd time seeing them... well... that pretty much went off without a hitch except for the drama with our brother-in-law and stash's sister post show. When the Chems played Audiotistic, I had a wedding to go to and my grandma, rest her soul, was put on hospice care just a couple of days beforehand and I was worried sick. And to add to that, rounding up a sitter for the Audiotistic night was a mondo challenge. And last time, shortly before Coachella my grandpa almost died from a heart attack and was laid up in the hospital.

So by the time the big day comes, I really need that music. Bad. Like never before it seems each time I see the Brothers, I need that dose of prescription beats to make it all go away.

And now, stash has been sick. Not like with a cold or flu, but with something else that's been causing pain. He'll probably get mad at me for posting this (and he might even delete it) because he hates personal stuff, but if y'all could just send a happy healthy vibe or something our way, that would be rad.

Either way, we're not missing this show for the world. Nuh-uh. But I want him to be well enough to dance. Good thing the pills are helping for the time being. ;)

reasons why me no go......

School exams this week and next week, I'm really trying to focus on schol this time around. I screwed up badly last time I was in school 3 years ago.

No Money, Ever since I quit my airport job a year ago I haven't had much cash, though I've been working non-stop. I've moved back home due to tat and school (also trying to avoid airport cause of certain my ex, some oter people, and my own ego)

passport expired, gotta get on that before the end of the year.

But the SF/oakland gig for PTB was big for me last time I was there. I know people bad mouthed it but it was a massive night/weekend for me. Chems (and hearing Tom going off above the crowd), 1st out of 2 New Order shows that Summer (next was at Fuji which was great even without the chems). Hooked up during the New Order part (still trying to remember her name). Had a great time around SF and Berkley.

Watching fotage from glasto today just brought me back.

Does anyone know what time doors open at the SF show tonight? The tickets say the show is at 9:00, the promoter's website says 8:00 ( http://www.apeconcer...07.cfm?cID=1203 ) and seeing as yet another opener has been added (DJ Icon), I'm wondering if that'll affect the schedule at all.

Thanks Bosc... I actually got some new meds yesterday that are doing a world of difference. I'm not at 100%, but I got enough left to get me to the Brothers! The healing powers of bass can work wonders.

I might have to shove my crotch into a bassbin... nothing that won't cure. Guaranteed to pulverize bladder stones

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and Whirly, and Jennie too, I suppose, the TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!

1!

2!

3!

4!

5!

6!

12345678:00 tonight!!!!! DOORS OPEN IN SAN FRANCISCO!

There's an odd sense of surrealism about today. I wandered around keeping an eye out for Tom & Ed downtown, you know, on the off chance. HA! But I don't even realize how excited I am for tonight--that's how excited I am. I know it's there, but it's like a groundswell waiting to burst up and out. Outside, everything appears normal. Underneath, it's all about to explode.

EXPLODE I TELL YOU!

See everyone tonight, and then the journey tomorrow!

::loveisall!::
