Hmmm. I must've listened to it about 4 times today... I'll have to listen again and see if I can hear what you mean.

Well (IMO) for the complex build up (@ around 1:40) the drop comes in a the wrong beat...

I'm going to a party tonight and I've been asked to contribute to the music mix :)

I think that most of the people at this party probably haven't heard much chems, but I'm sure they'll like almost anything that I play by them

If I have to choose just one disc, should I play BGWIO, Live at the Social, or Singles Disc 2?

thanks :D

I think The Duke is an all round great track. The super funky breaks and synthy squelches all go nicely together. Although it does not really sound like the chems, it really gets you going. I bought my copy of the singles yesterday, and feel in love with Get Yourself High, The Duke and was pleasently surprised with Otter Rock. The flanging guitar riffs and break beat makes me want to listen to it all the time. I supose these 2 tracks (TD & OR) are from the CWU era? Otter Rock sounds almost like a b-side for Star Guitar. The Duke should have been on CWU.

I read the booklet before I listened to the CDs! I think the bonus CD is great, the planet nine mix of not another drugstore isn't really special, but it's a wicked song and if they didn't include that, it should have been the original. It seems weird with the micronauts mix of BRB following! Galaxy bounce was a mistake, it's on their latest album already! I've got the TR soundtrac anyway. The ending is better on the CWU version. I like the way Elektrobank (live) builds up again after the slow down bit, I still reckon they should have put Out Of Control live on it though - amazing track. Or the video to go with Elektrobank (live), that would have been cool too.

I've got no complaints with the tracklistings. I think it's all quality. Even though Galaxy Bounce is on Come With Us, I personally like the version that's on the Tomb Raider soundtrack - I think it's the intro that does it for me. I have a copy of the TR soundtrack, but I can see why it was chosen to be on the disc - not everyone, even casual Chemical fans who aren't die hard like we are ( ;) ) might not have bothered picking up that record.

So what's everyone's choice track on the Singles bonus disc at the moment? Right now it's a toss up between The Duke and Delik (great choice, anType, thanks for making a huge deal about it!) and Under the Influence. I think I've said why I like The Duke in another post, but I'd like to add that it is a really infectious tune, the kind that gets stuck in your head all day. Plus if it don't make your booty move then your booty must be dead. I like Under the Influence because it's a mix up, it sounds so much different than the original plus it brings back some fond fond memories.

My girlfriend completes my life!!!!!!

I thought that was a nice thing to say about her.

Because she must always listen to chemical brothers when I want to.

That's a bit harsh dude, even if she doesn't like them?

Have you got any headphones?

(For her, obviously) X-D

I must say I think "Otter Rock" is a real gem on the album. It's a pity that track was hidden away for so long. So far its my favourite "bonus" track on the album,
