I think it's obvious why I posted this

Right on! Thanks for posting this, iggy. Right up me alley. :)
I love the Division Bell cover. When I worked at Tower, I helped do a wallboard display for Division Bell. I'm tootin' my own horn but it turned out brilliant... We got a lot of people asking if they could have it when it came off display. I ended up replicating 3 of those wallboads for random people (which actually helped pay my rent at the time).
I can understand why people might not like the Push The Button artwork, as it's so different than the rest of the Chems album art. It doesn't have the multi-layers of color like Surrender, it doesn't beckeon you to a world beyond like Come With Us, it's not a photo-nod to Bob Dylan like Exit Planet Dust, it's not a "mystery girl" from Dig Your Own Hole that still perplexes us to this day... And it doesn't have the stylistic Kate Gibb symmetry like We Are The Night. But I actually enjoy The Push The Button art quite a bit. It ranks up high in the fave-chems-art-o-meter. Admittedly, when I first saw the Galvanize artwork I wasn't immediately sold on it... but it really kind of grew on me. I love the high contrast of all the Push The Button artwork as it's always reminded me of propaganda art (and I came to find out later it is variations on propadanda art) - that type of art has always been interesting and fascinating to me. What sold me on the Push the Button artwork is when I was in London shortly after the album came out. I was at the Virgin in Picadilly Circus and there was a gargantuan window display of the album cover which was really impressive. I noticed it clear across the street. Inside the store there was a line of Push The Button vinyl up against the wall. You immediately recognized it across the room - that high impact, high contrast artwork. Back home after my trip, I went back to work (at Tower) and had to set up a decent sized endrack filled with Push The Button and again, it's just so instantly recognizable and it could be spotted from clear across the store. Like all Chems music, the Push The Button artwork is demanding of your attention so I think it's very representative of the album itself. I think it's a good choice for the Top 10, actually.

The ptb was based on May 1968 Paris riot artwork below, you can spot alot of the artwork the chems used in the floowing images

@whirly, you always have the best explanations for anything revolving chems. very detailed. I just had to get that out there.
As for the artistic style of the PTB cover. Yes, it grabs your attention. It is still not big on me though. I like alot of the other protest art that irish linked to (Thanks Irish). I still love the elektrobank cover with the underwater oompa loompa. I have a subway poster of it. I love it.

hehe, thanks Ryno
And yeah, I was a total tourist last time I was in London. :P Should have seen me at the mushroom kiosks in Camden town, har har. I admit I don't really don't like Picadilly Circus, it's totally over the top as far as tourist traps go - but the good thing about London is that everything is only a mere tube stop (or 2 or 3) away. Too bad the pic of me in front of the giant Push The Button shrine at Picadilly Circus didn't come out.

I like the Push the Button art a lot. Even if it is a complete rip from those past gems that Irish posted. It's simple, yet loud. And there is something about those candy-like colors that get me.
However, when you talk about the Come With Us art.... well.... I love everything about that album and agree that, it too, is my favorite album art.
