Can anyone id this tune please?

Ahhhh the good old 303, and sorry about the poor quality but it's off a tape that was recorded off another tape.



It's from a DJ set around the period of 96/97 or maybe earlier. In the same set the DJ dropped "Flash" by Green Velvet... if that helps. No I don't know who the DJ was either, sorry.

I saw this long ago on MTV, more than 5 years ago.

The video had a drummer, which was slowed down or pitched up to match the drum's sound speed.

Then it had a woman, a TV presenter saying something like "Warheads, TV, radiation... Warheads, TV, LSD", and this was a loop.

Then she also said "Fully comply ply fully comply ply ply" and as this echo happened her image repeated on the screen.



The sounds was like experimental.

It's called "Psychoactive Drugs" by EBN. It's also known as "Fully Comply/TV or Not TV".



Thanks chemicalfan, i'll check out some early DJ Shadow. Nah the original doesn't skip around. All I have left of the track is spread over a tape in bits and pieces (long story), so the file is alot of the bits stuck back together as best as I could.

My tune was identified by a very kind soul on Discogs. It's "Bassphemic Village" by G 104 on the Pharma label.

I've heard a song in Joachim Garraud's latest mix (#61) It's named Promo 2 (they don't give the track name) but I'm pretty sure I have heard it in a CB mix or somewhere else... Anyone ?

Heard a track on Radio 1 a few years ago, repetitve acid house track, has this sample with the words "Believe in me. All you gotta do is believe in me. If you don't I'm comin' to get ya". I thought it was Believe by Russian Roulette but I dled it the other day and it was some crappy trance record. Anyone know this track?

I found it... in fact it's an artist who will be at the Eurock�ennes named Ghislain Poirier...
