I swear the older I get, the less tolerance I have for copious amounts of hard sugary liquors like whiskey. Even back when I used to drink a lot more, if I mixed that with beer it would do me in every time.

Cant......sleep :( I hate when u cant sleep and u just toss and turn and have quick sleeps but they are like weird were u have quick dreams...and it's so warm here but the airconditening makes an awfull sound and if i open te window the street noise is so loud , like a car is driving next to your bed. (Seriuosly) And on top of it all i have some eczema-attack on my head where my hair is and i had to get up to wash i t with special shampoo. ARGH.

*shrug* Heineken is pretty bland, if you ask me. A drinkable, middle-of-the-road lager, but nothing I would go out of my way for (especially not at the imported beer prices; if it was domestic for me like it is for you Dutch, then I'd probably like it a lot more).

i couldnt sleep last night, so i came on here and started posting but when it was time for me to go.. i still couldnt sleep so now i have to pay the price of being tired today..

I used to worry,
thought I was goin mad in a hurry,
gettin stressed
making excess mess in darkness,
no electricity,
something all over me, greasy
insomnia, please release me
and let me dream of makin mad love to my girl on the heath,
tearing off tights with my teeth,
but there's no release, no peace
I toss and turn without cease
like a curse, open my eyes and rise like yeast
at least a couple of weeks, since I last slept,
kept taking sleepers,
but now I keep myself pepped,
deeper still, that night
I write by candlelight, I find in sight
fundamental movement
so when its black, this insomniac
take an original tack
keep the beast in my nature under ceaseless attack,
I gets no sleep
I can't get no sleep
...hope yours isn't as bad as this fella's ;-)

yeh its orbital satan, the sample is riught at the start.
whenever i have trouble sleeping this hippy taught me this technique and it really works - close your eyes and imagine yourself at the top of a large staircase (make it a really plain one so you dont get distracted) - imagine yourself walking down it, and countdown from 100 the number of stairs your walking on. its kind of self hypnosis, and usually sends me off a treat :)
