Fuck me i am sooooooo hungover! I was absolutely fucked ! It was great but i bumped into Jessica simpson bodygaurd and he wasn't happy. Moehaha!

This morning I woke up, lay in bed a moment to take a mental inventory of how I felt and thought "Not too bad, feel rather good."



Then I stood up and it felt like someone stuck a Ginsu knife through my brain. "Ah yes, there's the hangover. Lovely." X-D



Tomorrow is Canada Day, so everyone (except my g/f) has the day off, so tonight may be a bit of a pissfest. Supposed to go play some very drunken soccer in an hour or so, but it looks like it's going to rain very hard right away, so it might just be drinking instead. ;)

Very good and terrible night all in one.



Drunken soccer was proceeding very well. I had pulled my team back from a significant deficit despite being so drunk I couldn't see straight (10 oz. of rum + slurpee + several king cans of beer).....



..... and then I sprained my ankle quite badly.



I cannot walk on it and I think I'll be on crutches the next couple days. I am in so much pain right now. I should probably have gone to the hospital, but I didn't. So swollen; almost the size of a softball.



Thankfully the ECamp took care of me with ice, pizza and beer, and I got hooked up with enough weed that I should be able to forget about the pain until the morning, I hope......



Ugh. Bad timing. I just better be mobile within a couple days. I can't afford to miss work.

heh. Update.



Very stiff, very swollen today, but I'll live. No hangover, which is nice. Didn't bother smoking up, just wrapped it in an ice pack and crashed in bed.

Owwie, Darkstar. Owwie fuckin owwie!!! Drunken injury owwie!! Super ankle twisty owwie!!



If the swelling doesn't go down you should go to the doctor. Maybe they can give you something for the swelling? Is Viox still on the market there. They banned it here in the States, but before they did that stuff was a lifesaver when I sprained both my ankles a few years ago. It doesn't pack a buzz but it brings the swelling right down.

I'll be fine and it's certainly not going to stop me from going out and enjoying Canada Day. I am a little worried about working tomorrow, but I'll manage, I'm sure. Vioxx is off the market here as well, but I'll just take Tylenol or maybe some Naproxen and it'll be just peachy.



I don't think I'll need crutches, just need to hobble around like a gimp for a bit. It's not as bad as either of the last two times I sprained it in the past 18 months.

We sat at my stepdad's on the beach alllll day yesterday, just sucked down mojito's like they were about to be banned and hit the vaporizer, my cousin came over, then later a couple of Whirly's friends, and we went down to Taco Loco, and that Bamboo Bar, hit laguna beach brewing company, *I* thought they were playing some proper house music, but I guess I was wrong, because no one else wanted to dance, then my OTHER cousin, and like 4 friends of hers, all 18-20, were dyin' for some smokage, so they came over here, I got them all lit, and put on Windowlicker.... drank from noon til about 3 AM, slept til about 10, laid in bed til 11, and felt waaay better than I had any right to.



Still waked and baked, just to be on the safe side.





Right now, I've got a bottle of Pisco, this south american brandy, sitting in a big tub full of cut up fresh pineapple. Put it in yesterday, gonna let it stew until the 4th, then mix it up with some lime and grapefruit syrup.



It's gonna rock.

Shroomed for the first time last night and had a pretty decent time.



I got there about 90 minutes after the other five dropped their shrooms and there wasn't much left, so I only got around 2 grams-ish and was running behind.



I didn't really get too messed up due to the low amount I consumed, but had a nice buzz going on and the stars seemed connected by visible strands of energy when I stared up at the night sky while lying on my back in a park.



We just walked around and hung out for a few hours before everyone else decided to pack it in. I wasn't really feeling anything anymore and felt back to normal so I elected to drive home....



...... which is when they started to hit me a bit more again. Thankfully it's not a very far drive back to my place, but it was certainly an interesting ride.



Smoked a phattie when I got home, turned off all the lights and laid down on the couch. Mental fireworks ensued. I was tripping balls pretty solid, but it was easy to control because I was still on a pretty small dose of psylocibin. Had a nice solid, very enjoyable, disorienting trip before I finally started to come down and could go to sleep. Got about 4 hours of sleep and so I was pretty tired at work today. Ah well.



And now my parents left suddenly to go to South Dakota for the week so I have the house to myself.....



And I've begun collecting the materials needed for next weekend's festival. Just need to find some more shrooms...



Canada Day yesterday in general was nice. Spent the afternoon at my friend's place, enjoying the pool and getting loaded. Headed down to a major street party in the Village, then out for pizza and caesars before sobering up for the shrooming. A good day indeed.

Mojitos are most definitely a summertime cocktail, very very good - they are me and stash's new flavor of the week. As my friend this weekend put it (it was her first Mojito) - "Oh my god, these are so good and refreshing!"



We used this funky light rum for the drinks. What's good is that the light rum gets a good buzz on without feeling heavy, and the light mint flavor from the freshly crushed mint leaves makes it a crisp drink. They are the kind of drink though that tastes really good so you can drink them fast - but beware because they are buzzy. I spaced several of them over the course of Saturday and maintained an even, happy buzz. :D

well it is just straight rum with very little mixer! the juice of a lime is all

And tomorrow, since it's a holiday for us yankee doodle dandies, it shall be Mojito time once more.



Plus some Red Stripe. Mmmm. Mixed drinks and Red Stripe to go with spicy BBQ and some fireworks out over the ocean. It's a bummer I have to go to work on Wednesday!
