I thought some of you who enjoyed the Star Guitar viddy might enjoy this new, trippy little gem from Michel Gondry.

Can't check it out at the office at the moment, but one of the visitors was mentioning the Director Series DVDs... "and an anton corbijn is in the works as we speak". Corbijn as in Depeche Mode ? And anyone can tell about some of his other works ?

Sorry for dragging this thread into offtopicness right in the second post. :-//

Sorry Whirly can not watch. (also in the office)

Anton Corbijn worked with:

U2, Depeche mode, ultravox, Yello, Tricky, Therapy?, The rolling stones, Iggy pop, The police, REM, New order, Metallica, The Human League Madness (yes, yes Iguanuana), The Golden Earring, Foo Fighters, Brian Ferry, Frankie goes to hollywood, Echo & the Bunnymen, Danzig, The Cramps, Nick Cave and the Bad seeds, Cabaret Voltaire, J.J. Cale, Herman Brood, Bauhaus, The Art of Noise, The Beegees

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST: our very own THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS !!!!!

and many more.

He doesn't do only video clips he also does photography/design for album covers or for magazines.

For the chemical brothers he did the portraits for the singles collection.

He is a Dutchmen so I've been following him for a bit.

Well, my first thoughts; What the furrk? It's not trippy, it's shitty. Some bits where a little funny, but I don't think it's his best work by far.

Is that bloke Jim Carey? I can't tell cos of his messed up mouth.

I'm not feeling very constructive, so why not share it with everybody? I think this video is a boring one-trick-phoney, and I don't fancy the song either. Thank you.

Aw man, I thought you'd all enjoy it. Oh well, not for everyone. I like the bit with the vegetables singing on the plate!

I also like the song, very uplifting (Polyphonic Spree are... and interesting band) but that's just me.

The movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, was excellent!

Rebelion, it's what it's all about. Saying fuk to the system...and cos we're all tight bastards who think that the directors/composers/creators don't deserve our money for their hard work.

Isnt there a new movie coming out that was directed by micheal gondry and some other guy? Anyways I heard its really damn good and is a drama/comedy/romantic. It has Jim Carrey in it so hopefully its something else.
