I like Fatboy Slim, his first 2 albums anyway. I don't have "halfway..." coz I hated "demons" and "bird of prey". He started off as big beat, like the chems, both have become more commercial but FBS went OTT, it's just house now. The Chems at least are still techy, even if they have put their foot in the trance camp too (IBIA, star guitar)

Halfway Between... is one of those records that really grew on me. I didn't think it flowed right at first. There are a few standout tracks that are really good. Bird Of Prey is not one of my personal faves but it's not terrible and the Macy Gray tracks get a bit tiresome, her voice is an acquired taste I guess. Standout tracks for me is Song For Shelter, Drop The Hate, Retox, Weapon of Choice.
Overall doesn't have the party-time fun vibe as the first two records but it's a great effort - what's cool about it is that it is different yet has the signature touches of Fatboy. I think with this one, Fatboy was trying new approaches and trying different things (like getting vocalists, at the guidance of the Chemicals.)
