what a waste of time that was. checked site every couple of days for the last 2 months, and then they pull this one.

to be honest by last friday it was obvious this wasn't happening, it was too close to the date. so i'd given up hope of going.

but to come on here and see i now have the unique privilage to maybe win a ticket (gee thanks..), because the event is now "sold" out, that's just great.

ps. although there is one saving grace. i don't have to sit through 6 hours of beck...

maybe you should direct your anger at the scum who registered their tickets only to sell them on e-bay

why didn't you try the becks pack? you had more chance on them... and as sneaker said, theres bound to be winners and losers. And anyway, theres still tickets for the Manchester and Liverpool gigs in December

there are still people posting on the shoutbox now asking for tickets !!! this was badly handled by chem's site, no doubt.

i can't be the only one that didn't know anything about "winning" tickets. there have been hundreds of people checking the site for info for months, and still doing so. even the threads on it weren't an awful lot of help because people didn't know anything.

close this thread if u want. i'm not as annoyed as i probably sound, but competition or not, the whole thing is a bit of a shambles.

What is he angry about? the Chems are playing loads of gigs all over the country. So what if you didn't get any Trefalgar Tickets, neither did I, but I'm still going to see them at Brighton and Brixton.

Rodlaw , there was a lot of confusion about how to get the tickets , youre not the only one. But still 9000 or so people got themselves a ticket, so i guess it wasn't impossible ;-)

Obviously this is not not badly handled by the Chems website as Becks are the one organizing it. I agree Becks could have been a bit more clear about it all, but to blame the Chems website is a bit unfair, imo. Just because you don't get any answers there doesn't mean you should project your anger at something else ;-)

But too bad for you man. There's always a next time, like London or Liverpool!

at the end of the day when you put on a free gig like this a band like the chemical brothers will want their fanbase their. they wont want to play to 9000 becks drinking lager heads how only know hey boy, hey girl. i'm sure tom and ed will be sorry that someone as passionate as you will be missing out on seeing this show.

at the end off the day this is a promotion of becks larger, not the chemical brothers. you only had to walk into a supermarket and look at the packaging on beck to see how win ticket. you didn't even have to drink the muck.

dont forget this show will be part broadcast on channel 4 later this month

I nipped down our local Tescos on a night out (from what I can remember) ran down the beer isle, and just txt the number off the box. By the next morning I had confirmation.

Why not try ebay? or look on seetickets.com and check the other gigs.
