How can you say that when he was the one who got portsmouth to the premiership in the first place.

I think there a good side, they deserve Premiership status. Just on a bit of a bad spell :P

Simon Clifford (Former "Head of Sports Sciences" at Southampton) has now returned to Garforth, so hopefully he can get our team sorted out and we can rise from 15th in the league.

As far as my boys go, I'd just be happy if Wenger bought a few decent central midfielders, and a decent understudy to Sol 8O

Interesting World Cup draw today. England sure got the lucky boots on, that's for sure.

Good luck. You're going to need it. I'll have a drink in your honour when the good ship Australia goes under.

(Not to suggest that you guys don't have a chance, but, well, you don't. Might qualify out of the group though, if you're fortunate.)

I wish you all the best. I'd love to see the look on Dida's face as Kewell slips three past him.

As for Canada. Well, you saw the shenanigans and gamesmanship the Urugayans tried to pull. Being in CONCACAF, we got that pretty much every game with the Latin Americans. Central American officiating leaves much to be desired. Squandered our share of chances, too, but we had some help in missing out.

Let's not get carried away now! Actually, considering you guys are making a (well-deserved) run for Europe, I should by all rights cheer on Newcastle on NYE just to open up some room. But the thought of a buried midget sounds too good!

(Plus, we're gonna win the Prem this year..... well, maybe not, but we'll see..... you heard it here first.)

Oh, and Liverpool play Deportivo Saprissa from Costa Rica in the semi-final of the Club World Championship. Semi-Mickey Mouse trophy it may be, it's one of the few (only?) not in the LFC trophy cabinet.

And after how CONCACAF qualifying went, I would LOVE to see some Costa Ricans receive a major kicking. Avenge Canada!!! :D

hahaha, nah totally i agree with ya, lets be honest if we get uefa ill be uber chuffed, its just very very nice lookin at the table right now ;)

and - i reckon liverpool have hit a good formula, can see them doing really well - i think they might be the only serious contenders to the title this year. man u, what heppned? hahahaha and arsenal aint the same since they got rid of viera, and no amount of wenger hyperbole can chang that i dont think.

I wouldn't be upset to see Spurs snag a top four finish. I mean, just getting in Europe would be an accomplishment, but if the Mancs tank then I don't really see anyone else stepping forward but Spurs.

Would love to see Man U out of Champs League. Would LOVE it. Maybe as much as to see Chelsea not win the Prem. See the smug look on Ol' Red Nose's face wiped right off as Mr. Glazer hands him his pink slip.

I know Liverpool's run right now won't last, and I'm not happy that we have a couple games postponed while we're in Japan, because it'll be tough to make up the points on everyone else, even with games in hand. That being said, the way the season started, I'm in seventh heaven with the past month or so.

Pompey lost to Spurs! Haha, take that Harry! My bet's looking good!

(I bet my mate 10 Pompey would go down if Harry took over)

Um, I think you might have forgotten to mention a certain premiership thingamy that might also be missing from the LFC cabinet... a minor trinket I know, but worthy of a mention nonetheless! ;-)
