MYLO's album is just amazing... Chilled and funky house music.
And sure there might be some people saying "I hate dance music but i just loove MYLO !!11!" but whatever?! I don't think it matters who listens to the music as long as you can apreciate it yourself. I hate when people are ignoring music just because it is'nt in their favourite gengre or it isn't in or whatever, like many of my friends are doing when i play the chem's for 'em. I think it's good to give all music atleast a try, think of what you can miss if you don't.

I hate all the fuss surrounding Mylo. I love the album, but it's not THAT great.. not as great as many magazines describe it. I think it's one of those one-season albums - popular now, but everyone will be sick of it in a few years.
Once i loved the album, i will never get down him!!How music can be liked for me for a little period of time????Or You like it or not!!!!But ofcourse sometimes anything can bore You at a short time, than You are back to the music :)

I really like Mylo. I used to hate drop the pressure, i was thinking "one of those repetitive dance song again..." but i heard the album and it's really good. I saw them (them, because they were 4, including Mylo's brother at the drums) live, and it was fucking good !

Lots of comments here makes me want to listen to that record again.. I bought it last year I think, when critics were going apeshit on it, but I wasn't much impressed by the album, except for a few tracks, like 'Valley of the Dolls' or 'Paris Four Hundred'. All that remained after the listening of the record was an akward feeling of deja-vu and unoriginality.. Using samples from songs that have already been sampled before and whatnot..
I'll definitely give it a second chance though !

At first I did not pay much attention to Mylo, because it all seemed overhyped ('Saviour of dance' etc.) and that he was not as good as people made out. But recently I have been listening to more of his stuff and I quite like some of the songs off Mylo's debut, like Sunworshipper (very surreal vocal sample) and In My Arms, I think the main synth hook is really catchy and unique. Destroy Rock and Roll is just a very fun song. He's also done a remix of Freeform Five that I quite like, near the end he uses these short drum beat samples that are very cut-up but add to the track really well (a bit like when the beats are cut-up in Morning Lemon and Delik). He's good fresh new talent in dance music and he's pretty much the only new act on the mainstream's conciousness so that's why he might have a lot of publicity. Also he's contributed a track for the new warchild album - 'Mars Needs Women', is it a cover of the track that we all know off the 'brothers gonna...' mix album?
