If you listen to daft punks homework album then youll notice the exact same start to music respone on one of their tracks, the only difference is it says response after music on the chems tune.

which track are you talking about? If I remember correctly There's a fake radio intro ("The sound of tomorrow, the music of today") with a snippet of "Musique", which was never released on the album, but as a B side to Da Funk (my first vinyl... my eyes are filling up with tears...)

Are you sure this is the same sample?

yah, if it's from "Musique" it's not the same as Music:Response. I've got that tune on the Wipeout XL soundtrack and man, it's just wicked for walking down the street - feel the power.

Missy is great. I also like the fact that in her videos she wears so many different Adidas track suits!

I think the producing skills you are applauding when referring to missy elliot need to be accredited to Timbaland. He's truly the driving force behind her revolutionary production. It really is timbaland that is the innovative producer here.

This is just what I was about to say.

Missy seems quite good at writing and ryhming, though...

Not to seem mysoginict or anything, but most of the time feel there is something wrong when I hear I girl rapping. Sometimes the flow can make an otherwise beautiful voice really annoying (I lack a better word here), just the way the accents and intonations are put...

Even though rapping is all about ythm, you still have a melodic component in any voice unless your whispering (massive attack style), and rappers should really pay attention about this melodic aspect, no matter how small/simplistic it is.

and this is more obvious for higher pitched voice, hence the "problem "I mentioned. (also think about Eminem)
