Yeah the H-Foundation remix isn't great, starts off ok but after around 4 minutes it becomes more and more painful. Eventually you find yourself on your knees in front of the stereo pleading "make it stop!" ;-)

i think its on the double promo vinyl for the come with us single as well - along with an h-foundation remix of come with us that didnt make the final single. (very dissapointing remix actually, especially after their monster chic-o-la mix)

god bless vinyl exchange in manchester.

ahhh h-foundation and their west coast tribal friends who released a record every ten seconds for a few years

bongo....white noise filter sweep....dubby bass line......delayed vocal snippet.....kick drops out....more dub fx....kick comes back in....

some great records from that period chico-la, that dubtastic subaquatic thing h-foundation did, that h-foundation thing on moody (I'm great with names tonight....I'm ill....it's effecting my memory guv)....erm rocket thing on greyhound (jenos stormy weather mix ooof!!)....halo varga - future....

but minimal is going the same way......buckets of average/samey records people will look back in five years and say "why the dickens did I buy this?"

probably cus you were off your cake

its like the pete heller's remix of star guitar. there he was churning out all his (on the most part) quality stylus trouble mixes on the back of that sputnik tune he did. but when it came to remixing star guitar it was amazingly bland.

still could have been worse. fatboy slim was offered star guitar remix first but he turned it down.

the chems arent normally blessed by there tunes being remixed by other artists. the only exception to the rule i would say it the switch remix of get yourself high and the ewan pearson remixes of the golden path

Agreed about The Golden Path remix. I dragged that out this morning to bring with me on the drive to work. It's such a rush hearing it, totally reminds me of the last time I saw the Chems dj. What a great feeling to be taken back to that moment...
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

yep would agree with that....both those remixes are spankin'

dave taylor however now remixes anything.....in fact he remixed my breakfast for me this morning and apparently he's remixing the intel chimes...they'll both probably sound exactly the same

great producer.....bit of a shame really
