I've always thought it would be great if Tom and Ed did a double album - one CD with full on big beat stuff and the other CD with songs and their slower more chilled tracks that they do so well.
Dream on. x

Even 5 tracks will satisfy me ;)
I doubt it will be a double album people. DOnt get youre hopes up to high.
Really , everything they feed me i will EAT LIKE ANIMAL!

Fucking animals!!!!
Anyway - yeah Jeans you are probably right. Likely not likely! Double albums are very much a challenge for any artist to put out. For all the reasons why a double album would be cool, there's just as many reasons why it might not happen.
I don't want to get my hopes up for a double album only because I will be willing to take whatever the Bros dish out! I am sure we'll be happy with what they're willing to share with the world.

It sounds like something i'd read on www.engrish.com.
They should call it "ALL YOUR BASE"

I don't think there will be a double either. 40 tunes is too few to put a double album on. I think I heard Moby did something like 1000 tunes between Play and 18, and he kept only 18 tunes. So the Chems would need something like at least 20 really good tunes tu put on the album. Among the 40 "gems" Ed announced months ago, there will be unfinished tracks, others that they won't satisfied of, and if there is 15 tracks that come out of the 40, that will make 11 or 12 tracks for the album + 3 or 4 for the B Sides. That's how I see this album :) But, you never know **crosses fingers**

Anyway I agree that a double album is unlikely.

just thought about something : could be a double album with a live as the second CD, just like Death in Vegas and other artists did. The Brixton live with Bernard Sumner would be a cool thing :)
An exciting thought, but I doubt it will happen. That would be nifty though. Even better if it was a live DVD.
(Which reminds me, I still haven't watched the DVD with all the Massive Attack videos on it from their greatest hits package.)

Regarding the 'We are the night' title -it does sound a bit 'off' and vague for chemicals (as somebody mentioned, it might be a track name) so I'll call 'BS' for now.
I think the new album name will be 'DIG YOUR EXIT BUTTON WITH US'

Its funny how somebody just mentions an idea and everybody jumps on it like it is really happening - no, I'm pretty sure its not gonna be a double album and there will be no 'bonus' material. I'm just happy with my 10-11 tracks of chemical explosion.

I agree that I don't think a double album or bonus material will be forthcoming, but so long as the album is sweet and there are some b-sides and remixes on the singles that make me salivate, then I'll be plenty more than content.

There might be lots of b-sides if they wouldn't release a double album. I mean, 40 tracks as Ed mentioned?

With the Chems very strict sense of self-censorship, I'd be surprised if half of those 40 tracks made it to any sort of completion, but still, there will likely be a few tasty morsels to be dished out to us.

Let us hope they're not that self censoring as we assume because i'd love to hear all of the stuff they've made, every bit and every byte, finished or not X-D
But i know it from myself, dozens of tracks are still waiting for completion.
