Hm, thanks Martin. It's annoying though because I hoped I could hold it in my hand to get the feeling that it's for real. Now I have to meat the one who bought me the rickets which means some extra logistic effort. Hope evrything will be fine.

I know what you mean, but just make sure you bring a booking reference and the original card with you and it'll all be fine. Probably. Haha - j/k - I nearly always do venue pickup and it works fine, although I appreciate that in your case there's extra irritating effort.
On a different note I'm trying to work out where's best to stand...
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which can flare up, in which case I'll be further back to avoid getting hurt, but if I'm feeling good I'm tempted to get right in the action.
Then again, standing next to the sound desk has a lot of advantages quality wise... anyone know where the desk is located in Olympia?

ive been reading these posts for a while now and im concerned about how many clams im going to put down if im going to see this show despite the weak economy in the US. kind of worried too if i spend this much money now, will i need it later on! im pretty secure at my job but sometimes shit happens! it sucks that some people cant go and I kind of feel the same way! but for some reason, i feel this 'calling'! a 'calling' to be at Olympia!

Hey folks,
is anyone here familiar with London and knows if the docklands, where we probably like to book our hotel, are far away from London's inner city? I can't judge the distance on google's map. Any thoughts would be very appreciated.

So I can officially confirm....I won't be making it to olympia.
Why do you ask. Well, I can confirm some thing else as of today.
I'm going back to Fuji Rock Fest this summer (for the 3rd time).
I've been trying to decide which I would go to for the past few months. If I went to Olympia it would be great to meet up with you guys and experience another blinder of a set by Tom and Ed. However, I would be there just for that and then leave with school starting 4 days later back home.
My former roomate wanted to go to Japan for the longest time and things for us have finally clicked into place for both of us to go. I've also got friends in Japan that I can stay with (they might be coming to Fuji rock as well). plus being able to stay for 2 weeks is a major bonus compared to a few days.
Here's a lineup for Fuji this year....

I could be crazy and say "They haven't said who is the final headliner for sunday night!" and speculate it would be Tom and Ed. But then I come to my senses and realize they played there last year. Though the live section on the site here is blank for the week before and after. Still extremely doubtful though. At least I finally get to see Underworld.
