i think the whole of britain is pro kerry.
i have been taking a great intrest in the presidential election this year. i can't belive how both campains are being fought on personalities rather than policies. i cant believe how neck and neck the candidates are. i cant believe how americans can even begin to think to re-elect bush. wake up america!! look whats going on in this world.

This is true, EBW. But unseating incumbents does happen when voter turnout is at its highest. Higher voter turnout has been known to work in favor of the opponent.
Nothing to do but wait and see. We've got a few hours to go yet. I am confident Kerry will get California and Illinois. Then again... Ohio, Minnesota, and Wisconsin are still up in the air.

We had an election here last month. During the campaign all these people were publicly against the conservative/liberal geezer we've had in charge for 6 years now, but he won in a landslide!
It turned out that the majority of these people were publicly paying him out because it was the "in thing" to do, but they were privately always going to vote him back in because the economy is so strong.
Now we're stuck with him for another 3 years :(
I don't want the world to be stuck with Bush for the next 4 years, who knows what will happen as a result. :scared:

Consumer, what happened in Australia was a sham! (!)
And shit on me... it looks like Bush has Florida, then again, mums the word and the media is careful not to put anything in stone for fear of replaying what happened there 4 years ago. Of course there's 60,000 missing *eh hem* Florida absentee ballots that haven't been accounted for. Even if they mysteriously reappeared...
Sweating bullets here, now the news is playing the "what if?" role.
As of now: Bush 197
Kerry 188
