If Ed wants to stop by and explain his no doubt complicated personal life in detail to all us fuckwits, then we can talk about it.
And I don't really want to keep this thread around. It invites people to entertain the notion that their might be something less than perfect with my moderating techniques, which, given that everyone who matters likes how I do it, is a completely ridiculous concept.

man there are enough people on this forum for it to legally be a forum orgy. Feel like we should be sticking by BBC radio for something big...
"Oh my god I cannot believe they're going to play the radio edit of hey boy hey girl tonight! Is someone going to record it?"

Do you think? I think anything containing the swastika is pretty shocking and uncalled for no matter how 'groovy'the background colour scheme.
To be honest with everybody I think this whole thread should be deleted. Its just an affront to the whole Chems fan community. Like any mention of Ed's private life its just completely uncalled for and this place has turned utterly childish in recent days/weeks. There's certain people who should just be banned out right, they're behavior wouldn't be tolerated on other acts forums so why here?

True, Toby thank you (honestly) for speaking up and speaking your mind - this place has become childish in recent weeks.
Yes, in most circumstances the image of a swastika is shocking and uncalled for. And so is repeatedly being called a nazi by some closeted bigot over the years, or having seig heil references made at me in the past when the person who's doing this name calling and forum goose stepping knows full well the person on the receiving end is a jew. (me) You haven't been here much, or very often so you may have missed it which is fair enough. Being repeatedly called a nazi is more of an affront than an image that clearly makes fun of nazis. So yeah - call it lazy and childish in a south park humor sort of way. I can understand. I'll say no more on the subject of gay themed swastikas as this thread will be deleted soon enough.
And yes, I do believe certain people should be banned outright but the lack of an administrator is on the already very long list of things this forum is lacking.

The swastika (from Sanskrit svástika स्वस्तिक ) is an equilateral cross with its arms bent at right angles, in either right-facing or left-facing forms. The swastika can also be drawn as a traditional swastika, but with a second 90° bend in each arm.
Archaeological evidence of swastika-shaped ornaments dates from the Neolithic period. An ancient symbol, it occurs mainly in the cultures that are in modern day India and the surrounding area; sometimes as a geometrical motif and sometimes as a religious symbol. It has long been widely used in major world religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.
The swastika was appropriated as a Nazi symbol and gained further association with the Third Reich as the Reich gained influence. Though once commonly used over much of the world without stigma, over time the symbol has become a controversial motif, especially in the Western world.

Hey Toby, most of the chems fan community has spoken, and they seem less than affronted.
