I hope they don't doublebook NYE; I plan on regaling them with tales of drunken adventures in the wilds of urban Canada after their set....

Shit, I probably just scared them off..... damnit. Tom & Ed, I love you!!!!!! :D

(My typing is so much worse than last night at this time...... ugh.)

If they did it would anyone on the forum consider trying to make it to both?

Damn, i reckon theyd be pretty tired after both of them in one night..

and it just goes to show how much they appreciate the fans.. i havent heard of any other band doing two gigs in one day like :P Especially on NYE

Attending two chems dj sets in one night would be amazing but very unrealistic. I doubt they will play two shows on NYE anyways, despite doing it in the past. In an interview I can remember them talking about playing 4/5 in one night, that must of been hard work. I think recentally either the libertines or babyshambles did a shit load of gigs in one night.

Well muchos respect if they WOULD do it. But i doubt they are.

The fact of the matter is that NYE gigs are lucrative, big time. To play huge clubs like either Gatecrasher and Fabric on NYE would be big coin alone, never mind playing both.

As hard working as the Chems are, and as much as we all know they work very hard to give their fans what they want, I doubt that earnings weren't at least part of the motivation to do two huge sets in one night.

(But if they were to try it again this year, I'm going to have to find out which helicopter company they're travelling via, because I WILL latch myself onto the bottom of it.... 8O )

Shhh.... don't tell Tom & Ed, but I'm hoping they would take me along if I said I was willing to risk life and limb to catch both sets.

I mean, I probably would and all, but still......

Dark on the bottom of a heli , holding himself so tight not to fall off , worried look on his face " What if i fall off directly above the Big Ben ? " while screaming " TOM AND ED! SEE WHAT I DO FOR YOU! SEE HOW FAR MY LOVE FOR YOU GOES! " ans his voice getting lost in the wind...

Beautiful. Heartbreaking :'(

I will staple myself to the fuselage. Or wrap myself in duct tape.... I wish.

And in tonight's top story: A Canadian tourist was found dead somewhere between London and Manchester tonight, apparently with large quantities of narcotics in his system and a wide grin on his face. The tourist, who has yet to be identified, apparently fell over 1000 feet to his death while trying to hitchhike a ride to a Chemical Brothers gig in Manchester via helicopter.

:D

No, I think even I would have to concede that two DJ sets in one night would be a little much. Now if they were following up the DJ set with a live set......
