The Great Woking Experiance

Walked around for hours, looking for a cheap hotel, getting lost many times in the cold rain.
Mangaged to find a place cheaper that the Holiday Inn, called Metro, opposite a Weatherspoons :D it was like it was meant to be :D
The hotel view wasn't up to much:
During our expeditions we looked for places of interest and we came across Quake, the club that stays open after 2am, so we were happy, until we took a look at the door:
By the evening, we went to Weatherspoons, O'neils, Yates, Vamps, back to Yates because Vamps was empty, and then again back to Vamps expecting it to have kicked off by then...nope!
Thought the downstairs of Vamps might be better, so walked down there and disapointment spread throughout my body :-| it was TINY, with a very low ceiling, completly silent apart from some minor drilling, and nobody to be seen. I had a hard job of convincing my mates we would have a good time, I had a hard job convincing myself i'd have a good time.
Set was pretty good, sound system wasn't up to much I thought, wasn't very loud or bassy. Me and my mate were shouting like twats over the music, celebrating coming from Peterborough "THE BOROUGH!"
Had this one bloke come up to me TWICE and tell me I was looking funky, which was strange, but I was appreciative.
It ended, went to a kebab place, where I ordered a vege burger, yet I got a meat one! but I ate it anyway, I was starving! They also sell homos :o
Woking is an ok place, I don't remember seeing that many chavs, and no Afgans, cos they're all in Peterborough. People are friendly and polite, we're not used to that, we're a bunch of wankers over here.
Got some ok ladies there too, but Peterborough pwns Woking when it comes to nice looking ladies...with babies.

I'm the one kindly fuzzed out in the Quake pic ppl.
I jus' wanna big up Iguanapunk n his m8, the other ppl from the board who came 2 party, and Sneaker:Beater & Neil Alterego for a quality nite.
It's a simple but likeable club @ Vamps. P'Boro is cool, but I'd luv 2 dump 2 of the mainstream clubs at The Borough to have one underground club like Vamps. Dunno y. Y not?
Cheers

So can anybody tell me why is Luton the worst place to live, and in 5 words or less, what would happen if I walked at night alone.
http://www.idler.co....towns/luton.htm
For the record, I haven't been to Luton, so I could not agree or disagree.

now to defend my night. i made no secret on here that it was a small club, i did mention on the forum it does only hold only 100 people. but as the girls tell me with sympathy size doesn't matter!! i think it is a very friendly club with very cool people, i thought the atmosphere was great on friday. also i did mention it was a slow starting club. its a fucker but there is not much i can do about it unless i phone all the pubs in woking and make a bomb scare phone call. the club gets busy when the pubs chuck out. anyway rant over!!
anyway the party could have been better for me. i was fuckin knackered on the night, should have got some sleep before i went out. my set i gotta say was poor, the worst i have done at vamps. if i fucked one mix up i fucked them all up!! just had a complete loss of confidence on the decks. it was a total mare, even choosing which tune to play next was a real head fuck!! just as well neil played a complete blinder of a set on the night, best he has played there!! we always seem to take it in turns. if i'm on fire, he seems to miss fire and vise versa.
as for whirly and stash, what top people you are!! a real pleasure to meet you guys. i think you guys attracted a lot of attention in the club cos your from the other side of the pond. my friend to were equally as pleased to meet you guys to, they found you very entertainig. your very similar kinda people to the people i hang round with. the only difference i think is about 8000 miles!! sorry we didn't have any chavs at the club, they normally go to the other clubs in woking.
funnist point of the night had to be one of punks friends asking by 2 best lady friends whether they wanted to come back to peterborough for a threesome!! just remember this - hands off, they are my girls!!!
hopefully i'll get to meet more people of the forum and the guys i met on friday in the near future, maybe on the upcoming tour.

But the rest of the set was wicked, I thought it being a small club, that you wouldn't get top quality DJs, but I was wrong!
