I like playing Mario Kart with the Wipeout XL soundtrack in the background... really out of place, but I think I go faster with it.

Sorry but it seems like one of the only unreleased tracks that isn't likely to get a release on Further. Maybe as a bonus track or free download though? :)

So, the album is 51mn. That makes an average of 6mn22s per track. Escape Velocity being 12mn, that makes an average of 5mn34s for the 7 other tracks. Pretty good ?

Ah crap not "just" 51 minutes. I thought with all this talk about epic and crossing boundries the would push the cd time all the way to 80 minutes.

Also in the shop im working at I could order a "Further" LP. Any confirmation on that? Or maybe a 3LP promo??!!

51 minutes?!? That means Escape Velocity will make up over 1/5 of the album! Okay, that can't be right. Further's got to be longer than that. It has to.



Further LP? How many versions of this thing are they releasing?

I'd say the first track will be an intro. And the rest will be aroud 5 to 8 minutes.

Come on, 5:30mn for a track is more than ok today :)

Seriously some of you guys are killing yourselves with all this speculating! It's such a set up for disappointment, such a self fulfilling prophecy. You're being unnecessarily hard on yourselves and hard on the Chems.

I don't get this borrowing disappointment from the future, especially when it comes to music that's not been released to the masses yet. We're one song down and a little over a month away from the release date and people are bummed out. Whaaaat? :(

This endeavor the Chems set out on is a completely new thing for them and for us. A 100% Chemical experience plus visual accompaniment we can enjoy in our livingrooms anytime, to boot. If anything, it will be interesting!

So just relax, go make a compilation of your favorite most epic Chems tracks to keep your ears busy, and allow a little room to be surprised on release day.

i say 5:30 is JUST ok. the mean of most of the tracks i buy, is about 6 minutes. but when we think of the EBW's they are longer than 5:30mins.

personally i have no problem with the album lenght...i think further will be one 51min long chems track/EBW. but what about the liveshow lenght?!?! hope they expand it to 1h30mins.

The live show won't be Further only. They have enough material to make it last 2 hours, don't worry.

EDIT : zOMG Further is on eMule. And it's a death metal album !

Being 51 minute may go back to my theory I pitched ages ago that a few tracks may be super long and the rest are normal length. If I'm right people are going to have to call me Biffstradamus, which will be lame to type out.
