I know this is probably useless, but what about a more advanced Chems forum? Maybe something with an edit button perhaps, and more fancier stuff. Imho, the current forum and it's layout sucks ass.

This forum and billions out there use the same software so I think we need to go to that site and start an edit button petition, or at least put in flippin' speal cheak.

I swear I just might make a doodie in my pants if I come here one day and saw an edit button!

No, PhpBB is the best forum, but... well have you ever seen the "2001 2002" down the page ? :)



We are in 2006 now, and many versions of PHP BB have been released since 2002. And, an edit button is available on this version, but is not allowed...

I love the old skool chems forum :D

For the rest i love the board. Don't change it !!!

It would be usefull for people like myself who make many spelling mistakes. However it would mean that someone could edit there posts and change what they have said so that the rest of the thread makes little sense, especially after heavy debate.

Not alot of people are like that, plus they would be just laughed off the board. If that ever did happen..

Since 2.0.14(IIRC) phpBB has deleted the version numer from the footer.

Hey that wasn't me that said that haha, think there was an error in quoting. I wasn't trying to diss on this forum software, I love it. I got my starts on the other chems forum maaaaany years ago and I will say it was complete anarchy, still miss that a little for all the wrong reasons
