Chav/N.E.D/Pikey/Townie = Non Educated Dilinquant
The type of 'folke' you see hanging around shopping centres with tight shiny addidas trousers tucked into white socks with baseball caps on smoking weed and comparing each others ear piercings.
www.chavscum.co.uk - best explanation.

Before 'stash and I left for England, we were told of these amusing creatures. And we were told they'd be all over Woking which is where we had a forum meetup.
There wasn't a chav to be seen. I was a little let down after all the hype.

Getting into fights with chavs
I go to a youth club every other wednesday, and today we went up to the reck near by. on the way up, 4 chavs walked past, and one really fat one who goes to the school i used to go to, came up to my mate adam who is scottish and goes 'you're a cock' so i burst out laughing and they walked off and i muttered wankers under my breath, and the fat one picked up a rock and started walking after us!!!! HA HA HA HA!!!!
Then, later one in the evening, he comes up to adam who was sitting out the way with another mate of mine, and runs into him on his bike and goes 'shut up', then does it a second time, then Trish, our youth worked comes up and goes 'thats quite a big bike for such a small boy' then he replies 'fuck off yeah' and trish goes 'what does that word mean??' he replies 'i dunno' and cycles off.
So, abit later on he comes back again, cycles rght over adam, who picks up his bike and pushes out the way, then becase i found it all so funny, i came up dancing and singing carnival music, at which point he jumps of his bike and starts on me!! he tried to hit me, but it was like being struck by a miniture granny.
On the way home, trish, who gave us a lift, makes us put our heads out the top of her car, and drive past the chavs waving while she honked her horn!!!
Sorry if this hasnt amused you, but it has fucking made my year!!!
I'm amused! It sounds like this guy was an absolute prick. What's he have against Adam - and I mean, really, only 12 year olds would actually threaten someone with their bicycle!
And your description of him reminds me of Dudley from the Harry Potter books. X-D

A letter in Metro this morning:
I'd love to tell you how excited we all are in the North at the impending decision by the IOC to choose a host country for the 2012 Olympics. I haven't met anyone north of Watford who really cares.
Come to Birmingham any day of the week and we'll remind you of our bid in 1992. You've forgotten about that have you? What about Manchester in 1996 and 2000? Forgotten that too? I'm not surprised. London failed to support Birmingham and Manchester, so why are you expecting us to back your bid? There is an obsession that everything that happens in this country must happen in London. Why? If you get out of the ring of the M25 you'll discover a very exciting and vibrant country that is being left to rot in favour of Seb Coe and his cronies' campaign. Who cares about Live 8, G8, dirty hospitals etc when we can be forced to hand over taxpayers' money to fund the Olympic bid?
London preaches and the we have to do as we're told. The trouble is, when its taxpayers money they're playing with, we all have to listen.
