I wasn't amazed by this when it came out, but I heard it on Friday night on a loud soundsystem and absolutely loved it.
Impatient people may want to skip the first 90 seconds.

Dude... loving this. This would sound amazing in a club/arena.

What other tracks by Death in Vegas do you recommend?

The weird thing about DiV is that despite the producer-y background of their members, they haven't always sounded as dancey or electronic as they do on the more recent stuff (these days Richard Fearless is the only true member of the band).
If you check out the bio of former member Tim Holmes you'll see that he cut his teeth working at Orinoco Studios which might ring a bell with a few people on this site...
So here's some older stuff that I really like but which doesn't necessarily sound like 'Your Loft...'
Girls which ended up in Lost In Translation (but came out before that). I remember buying it on a double 12" e.p.which was segued with another track called Leather so the e.p. was called Leather Girls.
Aisha with Iggy Pop on sinister vocals.
The kinky Hands Around My Throat. The remix by Adult (remember them?) may also be of interest.
Dirge is one of those tracks that TV channels like to use on trailers for slightly off-kilter dramas.
And lets finish with something else from the same album as Your Loft..., Medication.

Really wanted to see him last Thursday--he played a DJ set here in SF. Had bar study to do, though. BLAST!

So there was some tune I loved in the 90's but could never find it, or even knew who was on it or produced it, until last night! Debbie Gibson??

As we seem to be going back to the 90's, i spotted some Jam & Spoon suggestions whilst listening to 808 State on t'internet.
I think i still have this on Vinyl at my parents house. The scope and ambition of these guys was was admirable.
