hah, yeah, if you look at the amount of time we've given the forum, oh man.... I'm sad now. :)

Darkstar, what you said before, about people collecting all the old shit and seeing them massive amounts, but not making it here to the forum... no, I don't believe they exist.
I truly believe in my heart that the 3 dozen or so biggest Chems fans in the entire world are on this forum.

Don't worry about it, it's not about how much you spend, how far you've travelled, etc., it's about how much you love the music. Everyone has different circumstances that restrict how hardcore they can be. The important thing is that we've all found music that touches us and have met others over the internet who share our passion. (And, in my case, I found 'stash, who touches me and shows me passion... Er, damn... :) )

Whirly:
What I have done is given their music lots and lots of play - and it goes both ways. I play the music a lot because I get a lot from the music.

^I 100% agree with both of you (except for the homoerotic touching scene  ).

Well I do a lot for the chems like:
a)buying 10 copies of WATN already! :D
b)at least 5 of all their other albums + multiple vinyls
c)all the time spent on here
d)getting other people to like them
-I can't say i'm much for chemical shows since i've only been to one in Munich.
-lol, my ebay account has only ever seen the chems.
.
But in the end, like others have said, it's all about how much you love the music. And ain't that true!

We've spent the past year and a half telling our neighbors who live across the way that the Chems shows are some of the best ever... They have been primed and now they're ready for their first Chemical experience at Nocturnal Wonderland. Good times up ahead.

Hey Prochem: what do you want with only 10 copies of WATN??? You need 12 for each track to listen to them synchronously!
And what I'm doin' currently is to plan the two chemical gigs this week in Germany and Prague. Hope i can sort it out anyhow... That would be a blast!!! and expensive . . .

Well, if the chems do decide to come to North America this fall, I will be blowing a huge hole into my wallet. And if not, I will most likley be travelling to a show somewhere. Maybe SF? Then I could meet some of you guys? I don't know. I'll just have to wait and see!

BUFFETT, I believe it! People do insane stuff for their favorite bands. ;) Sounds like a giant party all the way to Margaritaville with you Irish parrotheads invading Florida, haha.
Prochem - if you make Los Angeles your Chemical destination, please let me know!

my first chemical gig (amsterdam) took me 4,5 hours to get there because of some stupid traffic jams.. needed to go back the same night which also took long. BUT it was totally fcking awesome that night.
.
spent hours off collecting chemical cd's, and my collection is still very small. I think it's a nice collection for a 16 year old boy, also collecting UNKLE and james lavelle stuff which is also expensive.

Kewl and moderate collection Den (mine is much smaller btw, one really don't need every single thing imo)! Although it's worth it to get most of that single material just because of the different styles and colors (that Star Guitar is my fav at the moment. Just for that reason I bought me a vinyl copy to get a larger pic  .
On a side note: Do the different colored promo copies of CWU and PTB differ in any way? Unmixed maybe?
And that WATN T-Shirt, is it an official one??? I fuckin' like that style. What did you pay for that gem?

jup i bought that WATN shirt at the hmh gig, i thought everything was official there i think. Everything was around €30, so many cool t-shirts there like it doesn't matter. T-shirts with the hands from WATN etc.
.
I think the vinyl versions from CWU/PTB are unmixed.
.
I only buy what i like, i don't have any of the galvanize stuff :D
