Then, we'll watch 24 (which we're hooked on even though we think it's jumped the shark), then Heroes which will be cool!! I want to see someone kick Sylar's ass, if it's Peter then all the better!

This is Lost's last season. The Producers had to make an episode explaining everything! LOL! CTV said that people had no idea what was going on and they wouldn't watch it anymore so they decided that they would end it soon. I can't see it going past June. I'm not saying that i don't like the show, i still watch it but it's clear that it went a little.................................................well, weird.
I agree with the weird assessment. The show did veer off the path - all of a sudden we were expected to feel empathy toward the Others which sort of doomed things for me. I know I did some Lost bashing in this thread, but about 4 episodes ago the show reeled me back in after watching out of obligation and hoping for closure. It just got uninteresting with all the back story about the Others, who I really don't give a crap about. We need more Locke, more Sawyer, more Hurley and screw this love triangle BS. I'm glad the show is moving back to focusing on the main characters. Best lines so far in the series:
Hurley: "dude, Nicki's dead!"
Sawyer: "who the hell's Nicki??"
heh.
I can deal with the pacing and the backstories/flashbacks as long as they keep it focused on the main characters. The show needs more Sayid torturing people. Here's hoping he goes head to head with Juliete because I can't stand her!! }:-)

I don't watch tv much but i got hooked on lost after the locke episode in the first season the one when he gets his kidney nabed, also all the weird stuff going on on the island remided me of the montauk project stuff. I also like heros as well good program looking foward to watching the new ep tonight.

Kill Charlie or Claire or better; Kate (the only good episode where she kicked ass again was "Enter 77") = no more triangle bullshit.
:x
Kill Kate? WTF? What would be the point in me watching it anymore. I need eye candy!
This love business is typical of american TV and I think they've ruined all the characters with all these fookin flashbacks. I used to think Locke was cool, but then I found about his past and now he's crap, like the majority of other characters.
Season one was great, season two was ok-ish and season three is just a waste of my time.
Will Heroes take this route? :P I wouldn't be suprised. I watch it on the Sci-Fi channel here in the U of K and we're on episode 11.

I thought they were gonna permenantly ice 2 major characters.
and I agree Iggy, that locke flashback, the one where he was a pot farmer for some reason, was completely WTF? so out of character.
The one where his dad tossed him out the window as good tho'.
It made me realize that the entire show, I wasn't sure if he was really paralyzed and the island healed him or if it was all in his head.
Pushing him out the window answered a big island mystery, AFAIC.

Still superior to Jack tattos (lol) episode, worst episode of LOST ever.

was he actually nailed? I thought that sylar was holding him up there with his mind, hence the drop when peter knocked sylar out.
Where the blood drops came?
Locke better be gearing up to be a total badass. He was the man in S1 and then gradually turned into a sloppy vagina for the next 2 seasons. Hell I'd be happy if he turned into a badguy, joined the others, killed Ben, and took over the place.
I still secretly love his character, I just can't hate Locke.

That didn't really happen (well it did...) but what we saw was a vision from the future which was a memory that the one guy had before he went back in time again.
Make sense? :x
