DJ Shadow is one of those artists I hear on the radio now and then and think "I have to go buy this". I really dig what i've heard, but just forget to buy it or when I do remember, other cd's take preference at the time.

Funnily enough, I have the same thing with UNKLE.

I'll have to put a list in my mobile phone or something of all the cd's I want. :-//

DJ Shadow's 'Endtroducing' remains one of the best album ever released, according to lots of people (including me). Just throw an ear on "Midnight In A Perfect World", "Organ Donor" or "Stem-Long Stem" so as to begin to understand.

Anyway, equinoxe, never heard Preemptive Strike yet. Yet. 8)

you can't leave out 'changling' or 'mutual slump', though. (In my opinion the two best tracks on the album)

Dj Shadow is in my top 3 when it comes to music. My first and only time to catch him live, was in New Orleans at the House of Blues. Still to this day, that was the best performance I've seen live (I'm still waiting to see the Bros. live though :D )

I think a good album for someone who really hasn't heard much from Shadow is the "Dj Shadow- Live: In Tune and On Time". It comes with a cd and dvd.

Favorite tracks:

Six Days, Midnight in a Perfect World, Organ Donor, The Number Song

Jenny, You must to hear all his albums!!! :D

And here You can get a very nice item. Very rare 3xCD DJ mix done specially for Japan radio:

http://www.ebay.pl/v...emId=4767873946

I have those DO ANDROIDS DREAM OF ELECTRIC BEATS and this is best dj mix done ever!!!!!!!!It mix the music from past (60's., 70's) and the future music (90's and 00's). Once there are a big, massive breaks used by original live drums samples, but the other You can hear a very easy listening music with nice house beat, sometimes a music without a rhythm and some musical and rhythms experiments! Remixes are done in perfectly way, with perfect break beat rhythms, wchich every will love!!!!In those mixes You can find some little nice surprises: remix of Vangelis Blade Runner Main Theme or a piece from Star Wars! :D

Well it'll be nice to see him putting the "Shadowsphere" to use for something besides his remix album. "In Tune and On Time" is one of my favorite live DVD's.
