Right, just wondering if anybody could help me out. The Chems are playing the Other Stage on the Friday night, but then I noticed that a band/group mysteriously called the London Dust Explosion are playing the Glade at 2.30 a.m. Now, considering The Chems used to be known as the London Dust Explosion, does this mean that they are playing twice in a night, one live set, one dj set? Just 'cause I'd love to see them twice in a night whether or not its only a dj set. If anyone knows, please reply. I feel all sad now, begging for replies. Anyway, cheers

Hello blue_monday, welcome aboard!
Yes, the London Dust Explosion are indeed the Chemical Brothers. Twice the punch at Glasto, the secret gig is a dj set. 2 times in one evening, now that's a dream come true!!
If you use the search function on this site and look for the member named miloco2forum you'll see this person, who happens to be Ed, has replied in a couple of threads in the Chemical Talk forum - and he mentions the "secret" Glasto gig.

The best coach I took was years ago - from London to Glasgow. The trains were down, so my classmate and our 2 new London friends ended up taking the midnight coach to Glasgow. It was less like a coach and more like the magic bus. One of my new friends rolled the biggest joint I'd ever seen and kept rolling more until everyone on the bus was good and stoned much to the amusement of the driver. By the time we stopped to rest and refresh mid journey, everyone on the coach had the munchies real hard. We arrived in Glasgow before dawn and watched the sun rise from a Dunkin Donuts across from the Virgin Megastore. Fun times indeed, ah the memories...

haha. I just booked my coach tickets to glasto, cost me 51 :o
That's for a direct journey for 7 hours!! Going to get shit bored, hope I find a lady on the coach to shag.
Dude, just take all your chems (& orbital) cds, and really warm yourself up. 7 hours will just fly by.....

urrr, me thinks not. They say only take to this festival what you can afford to lose, meaning it's full of stealing bastards. I'm only taking the bare essentials, a tent and a hip flask full to the brim of Irish Whiskey. IT would be good to take a walkman on the coach, I just don't want my stuff nicked. It's fukin crap that criminals dictate how we live our lives, makes me fukin mad.
