Very nice to read that people who haven't seen the Chems before are going to be able to see them on this tour. :D

Respect for the chemical love passin' round...

Speaking of babies, mine are all as old as most of you people, but my grandchildren ... I have been tuning them into the Chems since they were born. My 1 year old granddaughter loves Sammy the salmon.

That's awesome!

I haven't had a chance to experiment the effects of Chems music on any children except my son (who is now 12).

Dammit!

My dad is such a cheap ass! He says if I want to go to the concert I have to pay for the entire thing - gas, hotel, tickets, everything. He won't chip in anything, not a single cent. I've tried reasoning with him but he won't budge!

I want to go soooooooo much, but there's no way I'm gonna pay $300-$400 (which is pretty much everything I have) to do this. And I've been looking forward to this for weeks! AGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

this sucks so much... I'm just gonna sit on my computer and sulk for the rest of the week...

Aw man... I'm a sad panda for you, WhiteNoise. That is SUCH a bummer. Is there a particular reason why your dad has backed down from the original plan of action? Can you maybe plead your case to your mom?

Well, it actually looks like it was his intention for me to pay for the whole thing from the start... he just never made that clear. And I've already talked to my Mom about it, and she sees my side, but my parents are divorced, so she can't do much about it.

He won't pay because we have an annual trip to an amusement park, and he can't pay for both trips. I tried convining him to just cancel this year's trip, but he won't. Sigh...

Could someone who's going bootleg the show for me?

Ooooh... I see. I can understand the whole money-holding-you-back thing. I really hope luck turns in your favor, though. There's still time!

@Whitenoise: That's shitty. My parents and I only had issues when there wasn't clear communication. Hopefully things will turn around for you.

I was contemplating the 3 day pass but I can't justify spending 75 bucks right now. I'm still going to get the one day pass just for the chems.

There was deal via Groupon for the festival this past Friday. Single day tickets were $17 and 3 day passes were $40. Luckily I had not bought my ticket yet, and my Mom keeps up with deal saving groups like this. I think they sold out of the allotted items, however. My apologies for not alerting everyone earlier.

I just got a surprise email from a friend who got me a groupon deal. I have an all three day ticket for forty bones. Insanity. I hope the Chems play a full set
