The Jelly is surr-blime, and the new album is brilliant.

Never could get into Bent though.

it is very different from their other satuff, i agree, and its actually one of the rare bands that get better as they get older. i love "come down on me", "the shouty track" and "the slow train". well done chaps. keep up the good work.

Well, Bonobo are different. They are more towards dubby trip hop. It's more appropriate to compare LJ to Bent, coz Bent's first album resembles the stuff LJ produce - catchy dowtempo tunes with some funny vocal samples.

Bonobos is fantasitc, nice beats, melodies and so on. I love this type of music.

Does any one of you know the Remix of Pick Up by FourTet, this one is so incredible awesome, these live-sounding beats 'n breaks, you get the impression someone is sitting behind a real drumkit, wow... this is bigbeat..

But his remix of 'Turtle' by Pilote is better. Bonobo rocks!

they were very downtempo, chill out, but its hard to calssify them really, theyr music is so varied, especially in the last album, theres breaks with rock influenced house and The Shouty Track is completely a rock track!!

as i said, its very hard to describe, best option is to give them a listen!

I bought the Lemon jelly album a couple of weeks ago and have given a really good listen over the last few days, its superb!! Better than Lost Horizons imo, but still like the first album best.

Fave tracks from the album at the mo are Make things right, Stay with you, The shouty track and The slow train.

I'm going to the forum and hopefully Brixton.

I caught them at Somerset House in July and they move around the stage alot. They both work the mixer at times and they both fiddle with synths/ drum machines during the gig, but Nick is the main guitar guy and Fred is the main decks/ vocals/ cello guy.

They don't play every note of their show but with a live set up like they have that'd be practically impossible.
