I like all sorts of music.(except opera)

My collection cd's and vinyls is very divers.

Dance, rock, lo-fi stuff, metal, pop, drum 'n bass, world music, jazz,

house, techno, tekno, classical, blues, industrial, some countryrock, whatever.

The era it comes from isn't important.

The old stuff and the new stuff.

I like it all if it has quality. (so no cheap, hitlist crap for me)

Same for me. Well, except the countryrock I guess. Oh, and don't get me started ranting about black music. }:-)

(The KLF, Shamen, Sunscreem, Leftfield, Underworld, Fluke, Paradise Lost, KMFDM, Guns 'n Roses, Beth Orton, Eric Clapton, Sonic Mayhem... very mixed I guess)

I actually don't like the Chemical Brothers at all, I just pretend so you will all accept me. I prefer things like Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.

He you guys.

I said some countryrock.

So I didn't say I liked all country music.

But there is some great country-rock out there

Country is a divers as dance music is divers nowadays.

Some of the American people here can confirm this I think.

(I think Whirly likes also some country-rock-stuff????)

Please anyone confirm this please.

I'm sure there is at least one good song to every genre of music out there.

Always an exception to every rule.

@ C-row: You don't like black music.

What is black music.

Is it "Blackmetal".

Or is it "paint it black" (from the stones)

Or is it "Frank Black" (from the Pixies)

Please explain!!!

Rap, Soul, RnB. German hip hop is awful as well (with two or three exceptions).

I'm not a big fan of R&B but again, there are some select tunes that I enjoy. Rap music is great, but only the cream of the crop like Dr. Dre. You have to give them respect for their talent if nothing else.

I like them as long as they don't do such music. Second, I can't be a racist, as almost all collaborators of The KLF and Leftfield were black people, but the music was great.

Just because I don't listen to opera doesn't mean I discriminate fat people, either. ;-)

No no no, I believe he's neither a racist nor a bastard! It's maybe a language misunderstanding. Black music in Germany is that kind of hitlist rapmusic or R'n'B which is played mostly by black people. But there are also "white" blackmusic. Perhaps you (in English speaking countries) have other categories.

It's just a style and it doesn't depends on any human group. For you it could sound like this but it definetly isn't that thing!!!! Please believe..

Thanks Csar. I already wondered why Gundhi didn't know that term either. Makes sense now. :)
