ok I KNOW this isn't the right thread to post a chemical mix/soulwax mix. But I didn't want to start a new thread for it.

Hi All!

http://media.putfile...Feel-Good-Today

It's been a while since I posted any new material, but I've been hauled up in my small studio putting together this slice of Minimal (Do It Again, influenced number)...It's taken about 3 months to get this far, I'm happy with it and it sounds good on a powerful system. It does contain a spoken Sample from a film, can you guess wich film!? I like the way it works and forms the basis fr the track name.... Id be over the moon with any feedback, so please don't be shy! :-)

Thanks to you all.

I'm sorry but I can't hear anything. Is this my fault? It's loading and playing but apparently without any sound...

Forgot to tell you all, I wrote a reactionary piece to my Chems show in Brooklyn. I started making it the next day in the hotel room! It's called Chemical Love and it's on my myspace - http://myspace.com/gillenium

Been working on another song for a month and it should be up in a couple days, if you're interested.

Hey Csar, thanks for trying to give it a listen, I too had this problem, you have to click the black rectangular block to activate real player, its stupid really, I'd really appreciate your feedback though when u get time buddy!

@ Vman: no no, I noticed that it was actually my own sillines. Simply plugging in my headphones would have done the job... I'll give it another go the next couple of days, for sure.

@Den: hmm, I was listening to your chems mix and was not so sure about it. You mostly played songs in full lenght which isn't that common for mixes imo. But to your's defence you said you never ever had touched a mxing software. So from this view it was quite ok. On the other hand I can imagine that's not that easy to do a proper mix (nerver done it myself). Song choosing, transitions and stuff is kind of a hard job, i guess.

Well, but practice will lead you to perfection, that I'm sure :-). I'm also sure if you're asking some of the pros here on the forum like Mippio, Sneakerbear, Acidchildren and his counterpart Chemicalfan... they will answer patiently i believe...

@Csar: thanks for listening! What did you think of the soulwax remix? Yeah some help/tips would be cool. Need to try more and more after school I guess..

@ VMan: Ok so here's my little review:

Well it seems to be really well produced although it's not kind of style I like (but that doesn't mean anything :-D ). Anyways it's got some nice glitchy sounds. The bassline has some acid feeling going on. What bothers me a little is the too repetitve vocal which expands the track a little too much and it's getting boring throughout the song. It lacks a bit varation. For the rest it's good mixed better than my foolish shit.

What sort of progs. do you use?

Hey Csar, thank you, thank you, thnk you, wonderful review. Cheers pal, dont put yourself down mate, I still must get round to listening to yours infact, I shall now. I agree it is a bit long in places, and the vocal could be better used, I may go back to the drawing board!

By the way, I use Reason 3.0, Acid and Fruity loops. Also Midi keyboard.

Ok Csar....Just listened to 'Here to Stay'....WOW! Love it to bits! You were clearly being modest in your post haha! I love the synths and the beat, the base line is beautifully fuzzy, gorgeous piece of music!
