ok so my brother is at V festical right now seeing Air. So i thought to myself, "hey i wonder when their seperate show is in sydney"...

i look it up and find out they are playing the 6th and 7th of april.. which is almost perfect for me as i have test week this coming week and after that im finished :)... so i think a great way to cap off my first session at college, seeing chemical brothers and Air.

im almost positive that it is an all ages gig as it is been played at the Sydney opera House, but i was wondering if anyone has seen it mentioned that it is 18+... i wouldn't wanna get a ticket to then find out i couldn't go.

anyway are any of you guys going to see air? i mean it's the first time they have ever toured Australia!!!

i will be there!!!

i'm going to the show on the 7th, but i have no idea if it is 18+.

i'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find out.

this is going to be one of the most brilliant shows i will go to in my life. it's obviously not going to top the first chems show i saw on this tour, but it will be pretty high up there.

they have never been here, and i never thought they would come, so this is so exciting, and i have absoloutely no idea what tunes they are playing any more, so it will be all unpredictable and awesome.

fan boy rant over.

I saw Air in Manchester last year and they were brilliant. Kind of a laid-back show compared to Chems but it works really well.

I am not a huge fan of Air but would this be worth going to?

I was planning on going to see the best didge player in Oz plus the symphony orchestra on Thurs at the OPera House and that will set me back at least $55 and I am heading to Melbourne on Monday to go see Priscilla before it leaves town.

Keep me posted... and failing that...anyone at least fancy meeting up in Le Syd to catch up over the March Chems shows?

hahahah that myspace + optus promo hahaha

im content just seeing AIR play their music. No need to annoy them by introducing myself as yet another die hard fan :P

To Lucy,

I would definitely recommend seeing air..especially at the opera house. However it will be a very very chilled out gig, im thinking a real floaty type vibe. It won't be as good as chemies (nothing is) however my opinion is that it is well worth seeing... especially since its their first tour to Australia!!!

i agree with the whole meeting the band thing, they would be such pricks too, i can imagine it now, jb and nichola smoking cigarretes making snide remarks:

"uhm, i really love ll the music you have made!"

"(french discussion followed by the two of them laughing)"

"i have allll your albums!!!"

"well that is fantastique, would you like to be best friends?"

and so on and so on.

bah, I so pissed about not being able to see AIR last year at Coachella. They were delayed for about 40 mins and ended up only doing a 20 min set since they had to abide with the festival set times. But, by the time AIR went on I had already left the stage to get a good spot for Happy Mondays in the Sahara tent which turned out disastrous as well.... :(

but damn you lucky Ausis! You get to see AIR at this place?

pretty fuckin awesome!

Bosco sounds like a brutal turn of events man :(

however on the up-side, heres a 10 minute clip of them closing the show with "La Femme D'argent"

its pretty good quality aswell.

Although one thing that pisses me off about that video is the drummer builds up then drops back down to nothing lol
