There was speculation about the possibility of heat waves hitting Portugal/Spain/France again. Let's hope it's not as bad as it was a few years ago.

I'm so good at seeing the bad side of things. :x

Coachella (which technically isnt in summer time, but the temperature would disagree), Las Vegas, and then San Francisco

Daft Punk in Colorado (Red Rocks)

and then Lollapalooza (grant park, Chicago) where ill see Daft Punk again and many other good bands.

o yeah, and the Chemical Brothers live, when ever they release their US tour schedule

And perhpas Underworld live too, if they come to Chicago

It's just finally become spring here. Yesterday was the first day I left the house without a jacket (and that's only because I left only to walk the three minutes to the grocery store for some lunch). Still a tiny bit of snow around here and there, but only in places where the sun doesn't shine (no, not THERE!).

My seasonal allergies are acting up something fierce. A steady diet of loratidine and xylometazoline are barely keeping my eyes and nose open, while dimenhydrinate helps me sleep. It sucks. This is NOT a good time for final exams.

As for summer plans, I'm hoping for a California trip, though I don't know when yet. Jeanie, are you still waiting for the Chems US tour itinerary to plan that? If they don't tour North America until the fall, I almost certainly won't be able to make it out.

Winnipeg Folk Festival will be the biggest four-day party of my summer probably, while there are also plans to go tubing in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota and a few other smaller excursions with friends.

Roger Waters in June and (heheh!) Justin Timberlake in August will likely be the big concerts of the season unless I manage to make it to a Chems gig somewhere.

Mostly I'll be working 40 hours or more a week, partying as much as is unreasonable, doing a lot of reading, playing a lot of soccer (for possibly three teams?!?!), and enjoying my first single summer since 2000. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

I need to sort out my finances as much as possible so I can hopefully go on a UK trip in the next 16 months.

Justin Timberlake,eh?

it feels not like summer nor spring yet. it's averaging subzero temperatures. school ends in more than a month and a half. and the girls are still over-robed!
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I know, I know. But (as I'll say in my defense to anyone who questions it) even Pitchfork Media raved about his live show. I'm going with a couple girls I know and I'll be surrounded by about 15,000 more ladies young and old alike, so it won't be too bad. In fact, I expect it to be quite a spectacle from an audiovisual point of view. And it features a 15-20 minute Timbaland solo mashup section where he mixes together elements of many of the hits he's produced over the years.

This is a tropical country - so I HATE summers. Coming from Delhi, we had very cold winters and very very hot summers, now I'm settled in Bangalore, the weather's much nicer, tho the last few years it's got fucked here too, and the summers are getting to be really hot.

We had the first monsoon showers the night Tong dropped the new Chems - it's been really nice since! :)

Was toying with the idea of seeing Groove armada for my Bday in london but the Roundhouse was a few days after so thats my new Birthday treat. Then Glastonbury. Then a week to chill and recover in the chapel our secret retreat where we go to pray and worship the god of music. It is isolated so can be as loud as we like. The ying to my yang just told me Groove armada are playing in Brum a week before London which is closer so may well see them after all. Hopefully squeeze in some more gigs. Would like to see LCD sound system and a few others.

You know how I said it was just the other day that it was first warm enough to go outside without a jacket and that there were hints of snow left in some places?

Well, tomorrow's high is +20 C. Winnipeg is the strangest place.

I just heard Aerosmith's playing my town on June 2nd! Hell yeah!! :)

It was supposed to be bombay, and I was considering if i can afford flying up and down again - but this venue change news is brilliant! Bring it on Mr Tyler and Perry!

No other gigs on the horizon for me yet, but I already gotta see two of my fav bands ever - Waters and Maiden consecutive months, I just somehow need to see the Chems this year, and I can die peacefully.
