Got Rainbow 6: VEGAS for the PC, and damn, that game rocks... hard as fuck, but not as bad as the older ones. Gorgeous too.

Well, the fucking Wii stopped working. For some reason, it no longer recognizes the remote. I went through every single troubleshooting step, and absolutely nothing. We got the super-extended-no-questions-asked replacement warranty for the thing, from the game shop, but they said we're shit out of luck, they can't save us one when they get them in, and if we want another one, we gotta fucking send it to nintendo, however fucking long that will take.

The warranty entitles us to a complete refund. I'm thinking of just getting the money and buying an xbox360. Cheap motherfucking piece of crap.

High drama has been avoided - the Wii has miraculously healed itself. Now our family can resume its regularly scheduled programming. Moving right along...

PROTIP: one must not let the wii near bright light, especially sunlight, which can kill the wii; one must not get water on the wii; and, most importantly, one must never feed the creature after midnight.

no, the remote is just like a TV remote.

Get the 360... the Gears of War is supposed to be the shizzle, and Rainbow Six Vegas is the dogs balls on the PC, can't imagine how great it would be on a 360, especially the multiplayer.

no, it's bluetooth. You can also use it on a computer, via a bluetooth dongle.

I think I will eventually get a Xbox 360. But, with a price tag of $400 (for the 20GB) and $60 a pop for new games, its not worth it right now (IMO) nor is the PS3. Ill wait till the big price drop comes. And yes, I agree, Gears of War, looks AMAZINNNEE!

BTW, has anyone heard about the upcomming Wii game, "sadness". Its suppost to some kind of black and white horror game (non shoot-em-up)

Ive heard its going to be an "A"dult rated game.

So much for nintendo only being for kids. :P

Frickin hell! That head is just all wrong.

Gears Of War is brilliant in coop mode, but doesn't have much replay value. You'll need a 360 to play the new Grand Theft Auto in October and maybe Halo3 if it's any good. PS3 has been a real Charlie Fox event.
