Thanks, but I don't think i'll ever come to a decision. My family will probably say "go enjoy yourself" but then I will feel bad. :(

Prochem... that is a toughy. You should talk your family into coming over here for the concert. best of both worlds ( c:
I sent Errol a message on MySpace today to see if he had any idea when ticketmaster would post the show. Haven't heard anything back yet.
Honestly, I am starting to get a bit worried. You would think there would be more of an announcement time/time to buy tix. Though I don't have any reason to doubt, does anyone else think Errol might be pulling our chains?

I can say with 100% certainty that Errol is not yanking any chains, he's doing what he can. He has no reason to pull our legs, really. He can't be held accountable for ticketmaster and whatever red tape is getting in the way for timely ticket sales.
Try not to fret about ticket sales. I know it's cutting close to the wire but it'll happen. I too was very worried about the Nocturnal LA tickets that were supposed to be on sale July 17... That didn't go as planned, they were pushed back like 2 weeks and I was sweating bullets thinking the show would not go on. But eventually they went on sale - big relief!

about the 18+ thing... When I went for Massive Attack a year ago at the Riviera, they weren't checking ID's to see who was 18+, when it WAS an 18+ show. However, a few months ago I went to see Soulwax (another 18+ show) at a different venue (the Metro) and they were checking everyones ID thoroughly.
Prochem, thats a tough situation. I hope you can somehow pull both off.
Saturday, is typically when ticketbastard puts all their new concerts/events for sale. So I'm assuming the show should be announced probably on Wednesday night and for sale this upcomming Saturday. Of course, there might be a pre-sale too...
Also, good news, I found out my mom recieved from a radio station, a free night stay at that hotel I linked up for you guys earlier in this thread! And of course, she said I could use it. :)
And lastly, LMAO for the person that tagged this thread "Bosco's Thread".

Errol is not yanking our chains. I just got an emailer from Astralwerks label about the dates and the riviera date is a fact. I'm totally psyched. I'll see you guys there!! You need not worry any longer about whether you'll get to see them ever... The brothers are workin it out.

Unless you're going to Munich to see your family, I vote Chems. But I'm a heartless bastard. I left my girl behind when I went to see the Chems DJ in London for NYE. We're no longer together. Coincidence? You tell me. :)
I'm calling it an extraordinary long shot for me to go, but as far as I'm concerned, the longer it takes before tix go on sale, the better. Gives me more time to think.

And that is precisely the reason why stash would never let me go see the Chems without him! :P

There is plenty of parking around the riv... if you are willing to cruise around the block a few times, you can typically find street parking a block or two away. There is also a pay parking lot ($20 or so) about a block away.
As far as drinks go... they are typical chicago prices (on the expensive side), so do some predrinking before you get into the concert.
