Hi,would like to ask a simple question,i dont if this is the right place to ask this so i open a new topic.

Could you tell me ,whoever knows,a song which has full automated, modulated all kinds of sound modulations, technics can be seen and almost impossible to notate on a paper in classical way, what is the way

of an electronic song such as influenced, orange wedge,..cut offs, filters ...

notation way to confirm for the rights??

How do all you confirm your songs for your rigths,do you write it down processes by process, print a paper of all processes you did or just a record.?

Thank you very much.

I think you need to write out all the noises in an onomatopoeic fashion, such as booom-chk booom-chk booom-chk, dadadadadaaadaaa chnka chnka chnka and then mail a copy to the U.S. Patents office.

That's what Tom & Ed do.

Folks, may be word confirm is wrong ,im tryin to tell in a diffrent way now.You create a song, completely finish and you want to take its patent because you believe its original.

if it was a pop song, rock song,in a classical way you write the notes, scres and lyrics and go out to signed it to a patent office etc.

But its completly electronical and notes almost impossible for notation on a paper.

for example a cutoff from 2'30'' to 3''50'' ,automated.

I wonder is there any special notaion for rights or just for musicians understand each other except hearing.Yeah! a special notaion for electronic music i mean , paperiable :)

HUH..:)

I think I get what you mean. It's not the notation etc. that is declared when forming the copyrights to a song, it is that actual recording of the song itself. The copyright is on the title of the song, indicating that any sound within that recording is copyright.

I believe the lyrics' copyright is held by the person that wrote them, and the notes will be copyrighted as part of the song (so you can't just use the same melody and put a different sound to it)

Thanks for the answer, but im afraid bringing sound recordings to related associations to confirm your rights(not copyrigths) is not accepted in some countries.

For example you make a song ,you must write down the notes, scores, chords etc.and lyrics and take the paper with you to 'notary public' for make it under sign,to make it seen and make it protected, just for declare it that the song is 'your' song .Oldest date wins in disagreements, problems between who says this is my song.

Now ,thank you for your answers about it,but yes, sound record is not accepted im afraid.

And you say there is no a special notation(not do,re,mi,fa,sol of course),i mean ,to write out on a paper by using special terms in electronic music which helps musicians communicate each other like notes, chord diaghram ,for example an automation symbol or a modulation symbol, filter signs etc .Do you?

It would be very useful for musical terminology betweeen musicians and rigths etc.

Thank you for answers and i wonder about it .

It's pretty basic, but one way of protecting your songs' right is to make a recording of the song (or better yet, the data) stick it in an envelope and mail it to yourself certified mail (which means, you have to sign for the package)

When you get your package, don't open it and keep it sealed.

There's more techy ways of going about copywriting, but this is, like I said, just a basic way of keeping yourself covered for the time being.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Thank you so much wirlygirl ,'' send yourself an dont touch until...'' is commonly used method just because of patent prices :) By the way you remind it again. And now may be very useful for the question.Thank you again.
