Overhyped. Not nearly as good as I expected it to be. I expected a Blade Runner, but instead I got an Equilibrium.

Ah - Slipvin, both you and I know full well that while some things may come close, there's not much out there that can match the greatness that is Blade Runner.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

I still think it was a very good movie, but that it did ride the hype train a bit too hard. The more I reflect on it though, the more I like it. Will need to see it again in a couple months.

By the by, I got Labyrinth in the mail today. Need to make date plans now.

I blame myself.

I think I hyped it more than the commercials did.

Watched Pan's Labrynth... think it could have been just as good, but not quite so grim.

Maybe if they'd killed the baby at the end of Children of Men, it would have gotten a Best Picture nod.
