Been listening to the golden path for like 2 days non stop now! Its on the radio one website under pete tongs essential selection and although its not that good quality audio, i cant get enough!!



Being a fan of the flaming lips as well i couldnt wait for this one, on first listen i wasnt that impressed but it has grown on me like no track has grown on me before!



For those who havent heard it dont expect big beats, expect a spaced out psychadelic stomper of a track with a speeded up "billy jean" beat. It reminded me of the talking heads in parts as Wayne Coyle talks rather than sings, his lyrics are awesome and completely compliment the track.



While it has that typical chem bros menacing feel to it in the back ground wayne coyne tells an enlightening story about walking along the "supposed" golden path. It is nectar on the ears!
