I'm really stoked right now. I was at work today and threw on FHM TV or somethin like that and this tune came on called Who's Your Daddy by Benny Benassi. Holy Shit how did i miss this? I've just got a copy of the tune and can't wait to get back to work in an hour. I set up the Disco Bar on my own on Saturdays and get to fool around with the decks and shit. We just got the new system in today with like 8x500watt speakers(it's a small enough club, about 30x10meters) and we reconnected all the subs as well.

We rattled the glasses to the edge of the shelves in the main bar earlier while testing! Seriously i can barely hear. First tracks to be played are Chems' Reel and that Benassi tune. And maybe 'Satisfaction' just to see what the bass is like on a proper system. Man i'm gonna have a ball tonight!!!!

Same here - haven't been buzzed in eons. Drank loads of beer day before night, but was pretty much baseline through the night.

Bout the Donnington/ Glasto, it's a bit more complicated - trust me if I could dump my job, I'd be goin bonkers already all over this thread and world. I've invested many years in my career n dumpin my job right now could ruin my life. Also, it's kinda complicated as my friend plays download with his band, and glasto as sessionist with medievel punditz.

Anyway, I spoke to Anil Chawla last night to hook him up personally for few a gigs, and Anil said he might be able to put him up on the bill at Turnmills - so will keep u london folks informed if it happens - anyway the band's playin quite a few london dates, but I don't know how many people go to rock n roll gigs in here.

Also Anil mentioned he played with one of the Freestylers last week - FUCK! That's WICKED! I love the Freestylers - damn, he must be doin well to be jamming with them - anyone saw that any chance?

My mom came over and took the boy child for the evening sunday, then almost immediately my neighbor called to tell me he had a buncha peruvian party powder that he needed help finishing.

Stayed up til 4am smoking massive chronic drinking beer and watching the Brothers synch up to various japanese cartoons.

Oh yeah, then I had to get up at 10 to go have Mothers day brunch.

Next year we have Mother's Day at our house. If everyone complains then they don't have to come. Having Mother's Day at your mom's was unnecessarily painful this year.
