Mike's Exchange is standard etching on all my vinyls, so is the XDUST serial no.

Mike Marsh is the guy whose been mastering a lot of their records (I think I saw him credited on the WATN sleeve too) - at The Exchange.

I'm guessing most of the (original) vinyls which don't have the funny etchings are the US or other foreign versions, since all my american versions don't have these.

Only if Ed would revisit here and clear up more things.

Whirly - thanks for putting up that pic - puts this thread into perspective for the non vinyl fans here.

Owa - thanks for the Loud input! Haha! My personal fav's still "Serenity Now" - it's so fuckin apt for one of my fav albums.

Thanks for pointing this out, just read my WATN vinyl (not sure where the Australian pressings originate from? The Czech Republic?). Nothing so witty on my EWB 8&9.

I wonder how many 8&9 were pressed. I picked it up with ridiculous ease in a local record store so there must be good distro. Cant wait to show you guys the film clip we did with it for my remix of EBW9 ;) Decided to use the remix as a proof of concept and therefore no stress way to test some motion tracking ideas out VJ has with his new HD cam rig.

Would be slightly less cool if the etching shows up and if it were a bootleg (though doubt it, the barcode is legit).

The Chemical Brothers believe their new single The Salmon Dance is like Marmite - because people will either love it or hate it.

The band, who performed to an audience of 9,000 in Trafalgar Square this week, say the track is a break away from their usual material.

"It's like Marmite - I think it will divide people down the middle, they will either love it or hate it," Ed Simons told us exclusively.

"It is a rather strange piece of music, but none the less, we like it.

"It made us laugh in the studio, and every time we came back in the studio we wanted to hear it again."

A week after their latest album We Are The Night reached No 1 in the UK album charts, the band were the stars of the first ever Beck's Fusions gig, performing hits such as Block Rockin' Beats in front of fans and celebs such as Lily Allen, Klaxons and Mylo.
