Here's an amazing vid i've found telling you some bits of the history of on of the most famous loops by Amen Brother and it's influences on lots of musicians from then on.

haha funny, yeah saw that vid months ago, i knew right away that that was the video you were talking about... Can't believe that guy from Jane's Addiction used the Amen sample for a Zeppelin cover... what a Sacrilegious Twat

no way man, that beat on Leave Home is not The Amen Break, 100% sure. It has a similar feel of the snare drum, but it's defo not the amen one.

I stand by my opinion, they never used that drum break. Ever. I dare you to prove that I'm wrong :)
