Hi,
So as i have mentioned, i have been working on a new chemicals mix but i havent put in correct thread yet because i need your help/advice/thoughts before i do. I have been doing it for a while and now cant make an objective decision if things need to change or not. So I am happy to take constructive and work on it some more if needs be and then i'll stick it in correct place on here.
So if you could take time out to give it a listen and let me know what you think that would be briliant.
I wont put the tracklisting down yet, just to say there are:
5 Chemcial Brothers remixes of other acts
9 B Sides
7 Album Tracks
also, there are other bits/loops of another 8 tracks and a couple of surprise bookends. I didnt use anything from the first mix i did.
I ask for opinions as i am worried about sound levels, length of mix (80 minutes dead)some of the track choices and there are parts that were downright experimental for me and i'm really not sure so all opinions welcomed.
I tried to do something different to my last mix and take some inspiration from other mixes i have heard on here and am not sure how its turned out
If you only have time to check some of it, the transitions do come thick and fast and i tried to limit the time that a single track is playing to around a minute and a half.
Sorry for waffling, hope you like.

Can't play it on iPhone (flash).
Ha-Haa. But my Lumia isn't any better, just tested it. I'm fine with it, because this is one of the few moments i miss flash on my phone - for most sites or things html5 just works well.

Don't be silly. The music is there for all of us, and clearly your work is well respected. Looking forward to listening, mate!

I've heard it tree times over the weekend and I hear your love for their music seeping trough this mix! You really did a great job and there are some wonderful moments where everything comes together. I will go into detail when I have more time.
There was only one thing that can be improved, on some points the mix feels a bit too rushed, try decreasing the BPM of some segments. this is just a minor thing, other than that I strongly recommend Tom and Ed to take a listen to this mix. You will get 80 minutes of awesomeness and maybe some new inspiration for your live sets!

Wow, thanks for feedback. And thanks Satur8. It was a pretty full on mix, no point doing a slightly calmer mix after When you start hating... . Thats brilliant
I have had coupla more thoughts about the mix so will definitely be tinkering. But if you could let me know where you think BPM is a bit quick then let me know. I struggled with some of the mixes with bpm but if there was a big difference between two tracks i tried to put bpm at a middle ground.
Thanks for the tom and ed comment. nice words. I have to say that there was a section in particular that i did think would be brilliant if they did it live. But at the same time that section was causing me mental trauma. I'm talking about the "Snow" bit. On one hand i was worried it was all a bit of a an edit as opposed to a mix and that i'd completely ruined the integrity of that track by putting a crapload of beats on it but the other hand was like "this would sound awesome at a festival".
It would be lovely if Tom & Ed heard it but its not going to happen is it. Just as long as some of you fans listen is great. So will start working on a bit more polishing soon
