And there is a sense of creating better stuff when working more quickly. This is generally not true, because you haven't heard the result gazillion times like you would when you make slower progress. It's quite easy to make music that sounds interesting for the first five listenings, but beyond that, much much harder.
It's actually quite hard for me to implement my ideas as such, experimenting to get those instruments right often bends these ideas to something else. I don't mind about that so much, but sometimes it feels that the best sounding parts are just a strike of luck.

I always found that when you try and force something musically, even if it's to finish a song that came naturally at first, then the end result is that it sounds forced not only to you but other people listening.
I've found that with me creativity comes in spurts, with dry spells inbetween. Lots of dry spells - Some of which last for weeks if not months at a time. For me that says that life is stuck a little bit in a rut, there's too much routine making it hard to be inspired sometimes.
I've also found that my creativity tends to flow well at night (if I'm awake and everyone else is asleep, which is a rare occasion.) It's a good release and you've got the whole day behind you.
But that's just me. :)

hmmm, I can always get into the mood. How much free time I have to do this, on the other hand.... well, thats a different story. I'm always writing little things - if you looked through my room you'd find all sorts of tunes and things in stacks of paper.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

i see music as an art, you know like painting and dancing. I express my self through it...i mean for real. If I am feeling down i go on my computer and make some mind fucking angry tune and basically make the whole track out of it. I don't wait around for weeks or maybe months to finish making on song. I do it in one day or in some cases 2. Creativity and inspiration just comes when i sit on my computer chair. Nothing is prelanned, the form and kind of beats to go along with it the thumping bass..everything is decided right there and then. I dunno that's the way i make my music and that's the way i like it.

Twilight Zone is my favorite tv show, ever. Rod Sterling was genius. Favorite episode, How To Serve Man.
It's a shame that the only time Twilight Zone's on television anymore is New Year's Eve and New Year's day... and too late inbetween the rest of the year. Looks like I might have to invest in the DVD's.
